They are cute and all and it’s great but I can’t be fully happy until Lucas finds his special someone too. I saw how he still hurt a couple episodes ago. He is moving on but you could tell he still hurt. Hence the line he’d rather have her in his life than not. I’m someone who was the left over person too so even when you are no longer together it still hurts to see the other person move on. Until he finds his happiness I can’t be 100% content. I just hope he gets it next season.

I would love that once Nathan and Elizabeth marry, but I think the kids might just be Allie and Jack for awhile. The WCTH team has said in interviews that babies are expensive and unpredictable for shooting scenes. So, they will probably wait a long time before Elizabeth has another baby.

I think Nathan's personality was always supposed to evolve over time. He was super serious in S6 and didn't talk much to the towns people. He talked to Bill the most because they worked together. We saw Nathan's personality some when he was more relaxed with Allie. But I think it was intentional that he was so serious because he came to Hope Valley to watch over Elizabeth and Jack Jr. I think he felt bad and a little guilty that Elizabeth's husband took his post at Fort Clay because Nathan had been in trouble with his supervisor and made to take another post. Jack's death was a tragedy with him trying to help a recruit and Jack dying in the landslide.. However, that was not Nathan's fault..However since Fort Clay had been his post before Nathan felt guilty. But I enjoyed seeing Nathan's personality come out more each season after. I love Nathan's humor, playfulness, sarcasm, quiet strength, his chemistry with Elizabeth, his relationship and dad jokes with Allie, and so much more!

I have been saying this as well! They are allowing Nathan's character to have more fun and joke a bit, which I feel is more like Kevin in real life.

Maybe it's just the natural evolution of his character,because i remember that in Season 8 Allie that he was more funny before Fort Clay.

His secret is he was fighting for her love. He knew that she loved him and was running away in fear. She wouldn't let him court her properly. So, Nathan as a mountie knows law enforcement changes tactics to solve a problem sometimes....he changed tactics in his approach to a possible relationship with Elizabeth. He decided he would have a close friendship with Elizabeth so she could get to know him as a man better. They built the solid, strong, deep friendship and connection. This was Nathan's way to pursue Elizabeth! To get her to see that they were more than friends that they loved each other. He's going to tell her that he totally planned this and fought for her love! 😂❤ 😊😊😊😊

@@BeverlyR-dl5ftI agree with you 100%. From the beginning of Season 9 when Nathan got hurt and wanted to see Elizabeth in the infirmary and he pretended to have amnesia and not know who she was. Then there was the line about Newton being a good judge of character and how he told her to make her book out to “the one that got away.” I knew after these scenes that these two would be end game. The apple juice scene in Season 10 solidified it for me. Sooo happy🎉!

Nathan says to Elizabeth: "No, you? I think there's alot you hide behind those eyes..." This line alone from Nathan is delivered with an undercurrent of electrified passion...that he tries to tamp down..Sigh...

I don't think it's a good idea,too much fight between people,it's so unhealthy,all of this for a fictional story.And this team stuff needs to stop, someone can support a character without making it a competition.

Or rather than being prideful, we should be thankful that Lindsay was allowed to work her magic. They could have just as easily kept Elizabeth with Lucas.

Jack died in S5 Nathan replaced him in S6 and started to gradually fall in love with Elizabeth but though it was obvious to us that there was a great love brewing between the two, Nathan was shy and hesitant about asking her on a date. When he finally confessed his love in S8 she rides away in fear and she chose to be with Lucas (out of fear, thinking he would be safe). Meanwhile, E and N became closer as friends. Nathan tried to move on, but like Faith told him when she decided to end she and Nathan’s dating, “Something is in the way.” Of course, we knew it was his love for Elizabeth. Gradually, E began to recognize her true feelings for N and it wasn’t just friendship. She broke off her engagement to Lucas because Lucas did not have all of her heart. So this season, S11, with E and N declaring their love for one another, people are thinking that kiss was 6 years in the making.

OK, I get it now. Jack died in Season 5. Season 5 was airing in 2018. Now, if I can do my math correctly, it is now 2024, which makes it 6 years since Season 5 aired, so it was 6 years ago when Season 5 aired on Hallmark and when Jack died in Season 5, which was in 2018.
