About Summer House:

I thought the same thing. He called production so he could have witnesses because he knew she’d go around saying she was blindsided and put all the blame on him. Her saying that he was on something and not sober is unforgivable IMO. He should have broken it off that weekend.

I recall Carl saying in an interview that he ended things on camera because he knew Lindsay would twist things and gaslight him. That alone speaks volumes of Lindsay’s character and the emotional abuse Carl has endured at her hands. So glad he called things off.

I agree with you! Lindsay is such a manipulator! I hate to see how she manipulates each of her subsequent boyfriend so that he does everything the way it suits her. It gets to the point where all her boyfriends start to be afraid of her. They are afraid to say an extra word to her, so that she will not be offended. She loves to make herself look like a victim and constantly find fault with her boyfriends. Lindsay perceives and treats her boyfriends, in this case, the fiance, not as the most wonderful person in the world, whom she wants to put on a pedestal, but as a thing that she bought and this thing should work 100% for her. Lindsay squeezes all the juices out of her boyfriends until they start running away from her. This is not love. Love is when you love your fiance the way he is, and you don't constantly try to find fault with him. Apparently Lindsay won't understand this.

Unless we are missing scenes, Lindsay was completely gaslighting Carl about relapsing. It was cruel and very uncomfortable to watch. I’m glad he was brave enough to walk away from that relationship and not succumb to the pressure of getting married.

To quote Lindsay from another podcast she was on, “How could somebody who I trust more than anyone on this earth betray me in such a way that doesn’t even feel like he loves me? Like you don’t do that to somebody you love. You don’t do that to somebody you respect, and you don’t do that to your best friend of eight years, your partner, and your fiancé. … In such a humiliating way, so publicly humiliating and then think I’m gunna trust you ever again.” Maybe she should have saved this speech and considered that this is exactly how Carl felt in that moment. And god bless Kyle for being there and not allowing Carl to trick himself into thinking that what happened was okay. *That* is true friendship. As opposed to Lindsay’s favorite style of friendship where her friends are expected to enable and support her behavior regardless of how it affects them or others.

Lindsay falsely accuses Carl of using. Carl's brother Curtis died of an accidental overdose few years ago after a life long struggle with addiction. Imagine, how much of a trigger that was for Carl to experience that when she did that to him. I'm so glad he dumped her before their wedding. Good for Carl to be free from Lindsay - the last toxic substance he needed to get rid of from his life!

Kyle was giving Carl good advice! Lindsay admitting she knew he was sober makes the moment worse. Just because he didn't agree with you, you jump to he relapsed?? Overall, I still think Carl knew this relationship wasn't a good fit for a while now and may have used it as a crutch in his sobriety journey but thank goodness he called off the engagement.

Lindsay has had issues with everyone… she has been the bully/victim since season 1. Narcissistic ppl are extremely insecure humans.. and she felt insecure with all the girls, because of how SHE has treated them. So when Carl didn’t validate her she just lashed out at him. The best part is her going to Danielle for support. Danielle is a good friend. Too good!

Not only was he questioning her sobriety. The words she used to explain what happened in the morning are very triggering words. He was so aggressive, attacking, defensive & cutting her off, & yelling. She says, I just went in this morning to say how he made her feel. So, messed up. She went in the room in the morning, to fight! Absolutely! No wonder he broke up with cameras on. He needed proof.

I usually don’t like to leave comments like this, I like to be a viewer and then move on with my life but I feel an urge to say this. Lindsey is a massive narcissist. She points the finger first and accusing others of behaviour that really she is guilty of (not saying she’s doing drugs, I’m talking about behaviours) she tries to get ahead of everything, she starts drama then acts confused and says “I don’t like drama” but clearly she does cause she always finds herself in it. Lindsey uses a lot of her PR training in her real like relationships, she goes into everything with a PR mindset and that’s scary. Even scarier is I think Lindsey actually believes the lies she’s concocts in her head. I think back to Paige at the reunion saying she just spins everything and it’s true cause even talking to Danielle this morning she’s twisting events. Lindsey doesn’t want an equal partner or friends. She wants yes men. She is easily the most mentally ill cast mate even tho she claims to do so much therapy.

They are both an addictive mess and wasting time in my opinion. Nothing like boozing it up and having another nasty fight insulting each other. 2 people going nowhere fast. Carl also picked up the bottle from the dresser and drank from it. Beside if he was sober then he would know you dont' argue with a drunk but he is as bad as she is. As someone who has dated someone who gets annoying an drunk to the point they don't remember WHAT REALLY HAPPEND, it's so frustrating an literally anxiety riden! In season 6 there were repeated references by Amanda saying she would take half of everything Kyle had if they divorced- obviously completely oblivious to NewYork not being a 50-50 community property state. Prior to marriage Kyle owns a significant stake in Loverboy while Amanda has zero equity in the company. So to get half she would need a prenup which is a legal contract for marriage the would specify that. So refusing to even get herself a lawyer to explain that to her and just mindlessly saying I am not signing anything actually hurt herself. I hope after the inevitable divorce she ends up doing only fans like the girl in Southern Charm.

I wanted to shake her shoulder until teeth rattled that was wrong then following morning still tried to blame him because she was drunk and stupid. Only one that might believe her is only female talking to her and unaware how toxic she is. Sadly Danielle will return to being her flunky.

I kinda assumed she was talking about just watching him as a friend cause yeah they barely dated lol. Also, rewatching back episodes is wild ..pls start at the beginning. Lol Lindsay was the biggest problem even episode one

@@ericascharf8711 seriously, never understood Lindsay stans. I personally believe she uses terms like PTSD to victimize herself when it benefits her. She says her mom abandoned her and her dad and that she doesn’t let it affect her dating life, yet she’s using PTSD from “fuck boy era Carl” to justify accusing him of not being sober. It’s just inconsistent. She definitely allowed her abandonment issues to greatly affect her relationships in the past. She hasn’t had a good solid partner.

Sorry they all play the victim let's not do that n always blame Lindsay. Kyle get ur relationship together before u think ur God like n someone's therapist so over the dramatics with Lindsay always being the person they blame. Also I would be pissed to too if my man called cameras or told ppl before me we were over n our wedding was around the corner or even in a year from now. Can we stop making everything for the cameras n just be normal?!

Im sober now and could never be with any man that drinks lost my ex to it and he ended up dying never again they are on two different paths and sobriety and my health is number 1 lydseys friends are a bad influence and purposely wanted her drinking to ruin what she has with carl
