As a follow up to the Air Jordan 3, A Ma Maniere and Jordan Brand will be expanding their partnership into the holiday season with a special collaborative release of the A Ma Maniere x Air Jordan 1 High OG.
Inspired by the realities of daily life in Black communities, the A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 1 is a symbol of resilience in the face of adversity and a testament to the power of unity.
Dressed in a Sail and Burgundy Crush color scheme. This Air Jordan 1 features a Sail suede upper paired with a premium reptilian finish in Burgundy Crush on the collars and Swooshes. Other details includes quilted liners, co-branded tongues, and a quote from MJ beneath the ankle flap that reads, “You have to expect things of yourself before you can do them” along with his signature. Burgundy laces and rubber outsole atop a Sail midsole and special tag on the insoles that reads, “Airness by A Ma Maniere for Air Jordan” completes the design.

Just wanted to ask the sneaker world a question.... When is it okay to use a tongue different than nylon and the inside have a satin lining? Seems like it was loved for these but hated on for court purple 1's(W)?

Missed out on all attempts at retail but copped for resell at $400. It is what it is, you either cop or don’t cop. I played this game with the Off White 1’s refusing to pay resell when they first dropped and now they are sitting at 7-10 racks a pair.

I wanted these BAD, but I'm not a sneakerhead and only know about SNKR raffles. Had no idea I could raffle at other places. I was hesitant to buy it from stockx because none of my friends seem to be really be into it like myself (got them for around $400 after fees). Now I feel like $400 was a good price after watching this video and seeing how much detail and premium construction was put into the build.

@@bayro7 that is a way better deal than mine lol. I actually wear my stage haze and taxis more, but only because I'm afraid of getting these dirty. The weather on the east coast is usually only good during the summer. Even in the spring it'll rain too often for me to be comfortable wearing these. I'm not someone who typically cares about keeping my sneakers clean either, but these look like they would be a PITA if they got stained. I do get a lot of compliments when I wear them.
