Ahhhh the plights of SneakerHeads 😞 The excitement of rocking a beautiful fresh pair of sneakers that you lusted after vs the desire to keep them as they are, and not get them dirty. It's an battle as old as time. Also the anxiety of looking at my collection of retro Jordans, knowing that they all have a countdown clock ticking down, towards the point where they are no longer wearable 😭 I now find myself gravitating towards sneakers with cream/off-white upper, and black outsoles, because I know anything too crispy white or with a icy outsoles, I just can't bear to wear them as they just don't look good un-DS. We have problems. As my partner keep telling me.

House: Usually some Jordan slides (w/ socks... I live in Colorado, it's what we do. 😂) Walking/Running: Whichever Hokas make the most sense for the task. Also, AJ11 CMFT Low... I have a handful of colorways; very underappreciated and comfortable shoe. Town/Bar/Restaurant: AJ1 Chicago (2015), AJ13 Bred (2017), AJ1 Low Shadow Toe, AJ11 Bred (2019), AJ3 Fire Red (2022), AJ4 Black Canvas, AJ1 Mid Wheaties and an assortment of "By You" Dunk Lows... and more recently, AJ1 Palomino & AJ2 Black Cement Never wear: My dad's original 1985 AJ1 Chicagos that I found when he passed 7 years ago. I wear everything else, or try to... I think I'm approaching 100 pairs of sneakers.

I’ve worn my diamond sb lows maybe three times since I got them (on release day). I do wear my DOOMs a bit more. This year I’ve mostly worn air ships, vomero 5s and NBs. I’ve enjoyed wearing Jordan 2s a lot spesh the Balvins!

In my opinion I think you should rock the Ben 5's make memories in them then when they start to crumble out them in a clear case to admire.

Cool grey 11s are pretty cheap second hand right now. You could keep your fresh pair and grab a cheap pair still pretty fresh

8:47 You should be good with those 5s. Obviously, with being in a colder climate like England, your kicks should last longer. I was wearing my 2005 stealth 5s the other day and they're fine. I get your predicament though, especially if you can make a bit of money on them still. I would've rocked them from the start though. Those are fire. I have a few beaters that I only use for around the house, gardening and nipping to the shop. Those are my nike air trainer sc Bo Jacksons, puma disc trinomic blaze, and some Reebok pump graphlite.

Man, idk why, but I’ve always had 0 desire for a Travis Jordan sneaker. I have nothing against him or his music, but they just don’t do it for me. I thought the AM1’s were cool, but that’s about it honestly. Just got the Crenshaws for a great deal and I couldn’t be happier, though! Shoe of the year, imo no doubt

I only recently started rocking my AMM Jordan 3s and discovered that you need to go a half size down from usual Jordan 3 size. They are a bit longer than usual (probs as a womens release) and the satin type liner is slippy. Luckily discovered before leaving the house and was able to sell and then buy half size down.

bought a pair of SB dunks to skate in… haven’t worn them the skate in, but will skate in my jordan 1s my yeezy 350 CMPTs are my daily wear for work/running out/ect, love them the SB Be Trues are my favorite shoe i have and i’ve come to love them too much to skate in them, one day i’ll get skate in them 😭

I wear my Saucony 6000 otherworld the most now. Got them new for $56 delivered which is insane and it’s such a gorgeous shoe n most comfy. The nike retro shoes are either all DS or barely worn. Im wfh dad with 3 dogs so the hype shoes get no wear at all. I joke with the wife that when the kids are 5 I’ll finally wear them

I have 30 plus pairs and live in 2 pairs of blazers mids soon to be 3, am motif for the 200 unit, 90 terrascapes and am95 ultras. Nearly forgot my absolute favourite gorge green sb dunk high pro. Love full suade so comfortable and hard wearing. The rest not really bothered about I'm learning only buy what I love when on sale I don't buy anything for full retail, nevermind resale, never going to happen. Not a pair I like enough to go back on principles. If only more people lived by their principles. Still haven't got any dunk lows.

The AMM 3 and Union 1 should age well even after they get beat up. They have the right colours and texture to stand up to distressing. The cool grey 11s probably look better when they’re relatively pristine.
