Not every sneaker needs to be a banger. Honestly, this whole "market value" discussion that was developed has really changed the way people see sneakers and for the worst. The only ones that benefited from that were Nike (by raising their prices for the same product) and resellers. Now everybody wants the prices to come up and for things to be limited.

I think the hype is still there. 4s always sell out regardless of the resale hype. I think it's that the resale market as a whole has changed, which is a great thing. Hopefully it continues on this downward trend until we can get any shoe we want for retail or even on sale.

Now is the time for them to drop the white cement 4’s. See where the hype is really at.

Completely disagree that the A Ma Maniere 4s are a let down. They are a classy grown up version of a beautiful classic. Amazing unique material, raw edges, quilted interior, super comfy if you go a half size up. One of the best 4s ever IMO. Love your output bro keep em coming ❤

The Bred re-imagined and Military Blues in the same year does at least make this a pretty sick year for collectors to easily get these pairs! Been wearing my breds a lot and now they're broken in, they are uber comfy. When this year is in the rearview all people will remember are the bangers, they won't be thinking about the vivid sulphurs etc

Another informative video. Really enjoyed and learned a thing or two about the Jordan 4 history. I believe the challenging economy and higher prices being charged for J4s are what’s causing it to sit in stores. I buy preowned sneakers nowadays to lower buying costs.

I love the the canyon purple. It’s my favorite sneakers. I agree, some color ways have been ass, but the craft are amazing.

The Zen Master 4s are dope! They never went on sale here in the U.S. they weren't released here. They've been 400 bucks for 2yrs on the resale market (in a sz 14)

I just picked up a pair of the Travis 4s for a price I could never have imagined 2 years ago. Even a good Travis model has taken the resale hit.

I am very pleased that the hype for GR AJ4’s have died down bc for a time being (18’-23’) Jordan’s & dunks were/are getting outta control and prices for some releases were crazyyyy!!! I’m going to say it’s the best time to be a sneaker head bc of all the options and color ways to pick from and the collabs are plentiful, I’m 34yo and I’ve never seen this many great choices for Jordan’s it’s amazing nonetheless

I picked up the What The 4 and Black cats off the shelf. I think my issue with 4s is how bad they hurt my feet. I can just about spend the day wearing 1s, 3s, 5s and 11s but 4s seriously hurt. To the point mine just gather dust.

I think you’re right on some things but wrong on others. Over saturation yes but looking at resell price as a guide is just wrong to me. The Bred reimagined were a huge success. For Nike the goal is to set a high retail price as possible but still sell out even with high production numbers. Some of the other colourways were not as bad as you made out in my opinion but what I would say is they were unnecessary, but I would argue that is the case across the whole Jordan line. Always good to see new uploads of your videos though even if I don’t always agree

So far in my country and other asian markets, 4s still keep selling out and still popular.

These blues will be very interesting. Like yes they aren’t super high on resell but neither are the Breds n you can only buy them in aftermarket now. It will say a lot of the blues don’t sit even at that high quantity. I think many are doubling up n more on the blues so i feel like they might still be oos in sizes 8 and up.

I liked the Zen Master 4’s. Not enough to buy them but more than the Travis’. The OG lows and the inside panel on the Frag lows look better then the ZM’s but that’s it.

Military Blues were wbat i wanted when I was in 5th grade and saw a kid come in with a pair in 89 (now you know how old I am) and i thought it was the coolest thing i ever saw. Parents couldn't afford them. I shoveled snow, mowed grass, but by the time i saved up enough they were gone. Didn't want the jumpman on the back. Patience pays off, fuckers. I bought 3 pairs. Lol

I couldn't get the military blues. Yesterday I ordered the oxidized green and right after I ordered they had the military blue in size 10 and 10.5. I tried to change the order but there was no options on the website and I called but it was late at night and they told me to call in the morning and by the time morning came they were gone

See I'm a fan of the Infrareds, and the OVO Raptors were tight but I agree - here in Ireland seeing so many that are essentially reps has oversaturated the silhouette like crazy. Pandabuy Black Cats are nearly as common as Panda Dunks or triple white Forces. If the market falls off, I'll gladly cop a few pairs later in the year, I've been watching prices tumble so may even cop a few that I like (the aforementioned Infrareds have dropped about £80 in a UK 10.5 I swear). I am here for the decline in popularity of the J4 as its a silhouette I love. Same with the J3, hoping that hype train has been and gone too.

I just went Jordan shopping and the cheapest Jordan 4 still comes out to well over $200. I picked the Jordan 3 green glow that was listed for $154 and they came out to a little over $200. Sneaker resellers confuse the market with the way they price sneakers. They undercut the primary market by $50 but in reality they sell them for at least $50 more than MSRP with all their fees

The new hype in 2024 and 2025 is Kobe’s anything Kobe’s made by Nike

Same thing that happened to the 1s. Nike sees the hype around a silhouette and they oversaturate the market with color ways we didn’t ask for or need and millions of pairs of the hype pairs

I actually like the infrareds. It’s got good color ms and color blocking. Hated the red thunders but odly loved the yellow thunders. The canyon purple are some of my favorites..not sure why. They grew on me. The crafts are both very boring but slightly better with a subtle lace swap to crème. Breds are 4 of the year. I don’t mind he Military blues.

Maybe UK has different tastes then US It took me a while to get the Ama manier 4’s at price point under $300($290 off goat) i debuted them on my Vegas trip last November at the Forum Shops. I put the cream laces from the ama 3’s and got tons of compliments not just from the sneaker stores. Also at home in Hawaii the craft 4 olive greens also turn plenty of heads and comments. Ps just like 2020 black cats, 2019 black laser i got on sale for $139.99 when nobody wanted them, look at the prices ow for a 10 1/2.

As a real sneaker head I’m happy! Just like I am happy all the “hype” around the 1’s has dropped off, I’m able to go back and pick up pairs for reasonable prices! I can’t wait to do the same thing with 4’s that I’ve missed out on. In my eyes this obsession with market value has tarnished the sneaker game for real sneaker heads!

Personally think the AMM4 are one of the nicest 4s of the recent past. Sold my SB4s, cashed in on the hype as I thought they wer3 over-rated. Passed on the BC4 but keen on the MB4s. TBH, there's just so much more out there for the money.
