the music in this scene is so ill, just incredible, revolutionary even. the composer of the score of this film, james horner, is a genius.

Hollywood needs to go back to making movies like this. Back when they still cared.

Except the word "answer" is being used in two completely different contexts there, so not really. At best, it's a pun 😉

One of the all time best movie scenes - the piano music here is beautiful. Too many secrets? (or no more secrets). Kind of what we living in today with the web + WikiLeaks etc. Amazing movie for its time.

Albertkallal So true. The music makes this scene. It shows how the characters go from amazement to horror at what they've discovered.

Don't forget Facebook selling all of your info for money. I dropped F.B. 5 years ago when I learned what they were doing. If folks are cool with it...fine...I was not.

I always felt a little bad for the actress playing Crease's wife: "Okay, I just need you to sit here completely emotionless even though the mood of the room has completely changed and your husband with a world-famous temper is now very agitated."

They are UV shades, you can get them from any optometrist. The whole code on his eyes thing was a artistic choice, almost saying that he "sees" in code, rather than normally like the rest of us. A wonderful way to turn a negative into a positive. From a cinematographers point of view that much black on an actors face is hell to light properly, plus it just looks like a black strip otherwise. But using that black of the shades as canvas to help make the brightness of the code "pop" and give Whistler "Code Eyes" in the reflection I thought was very clever.
