You have a large following and you create tons of content so it is nice to be reminded that you are just a regular guy, helps me believe I can somehow find a way to find a path to security and happiness. And more importantly you need to share with someone so it doesn't get worse and turn into a more serious issue because you ignored how you were feeling. I think all of the time about how I wish I had the courage to start a channel doing weapons reviews, it really is my passion. You face obstacles, not barriers, you can overcome obstacles. Think of this, you are facing obstacles while pursuing your passion, most people face them while building someone else's dream. Stay safe, keep the faith, don't let'em grind ya down!

Life is hard bro. The best advice I ever got is "You'll win if you do not quit, even a broken clock is right twice a day." I've been with you since about the beginning. Man you are one organized dude. Love it!. You're smart for saving and waiting to pounce on the next housing market down turn. I retired from the FD there in Phoenix and wanted to move to Prescott. Only way I could afford it was to wait till 2012 when the last market and interest rate crash was at its lowest. Now I am enjoying the cool pines in the mountains of Arizona where I get out frequently to shoot and train. Also building my gun room/shop with false walls to hid guns from would be thieves. Looking for places and ways to hide guns off property with current event being what they are.

Top-down view zoomed all the way out makes me feel like I'm falling it's at a weird angle. Zoomed in looks good though. I do like that bench. Considered getting one because I already have the big toolbox that matches it. The drawer assist on the bench and the toolbox are really nice, really helps stuff to stay in place and not sliding to the back.

you have grown by leaps and bounds with your videos, not saying they were bad in the beginning but I have seen you grow, become more relaxed, and more advanced with your knowledge and style, I enjoy your sharing, and your opinions and thoughts. For me, I like the person producing the video to share some of their life with the viewer jus so one has a little more familiarity with the host, a little more bonding - just enough to make a person feel like "I know that guy, and I respect his words" Soooooo carry on, myself like the little tidbit about your dilemma in buying a house, makes perfect sense to me. Your videos are in the top tier, you are excellent at giving the viewer facts, your opinions, and guidance - giving people plenty of food for thought and maybe a better aspect to addressing their needs. THNKS MAN !

I’m looking at the same bench because I’m currently going to SDI. It’s insane how many tools I have, I probably have about triple the amount you do, files, bedding kits, lapping kits, action rods, action wrenches, etc. it adds up QUICK!! Anyone who has action wrench knows they are big, heavy, and take up space. The one thing I seen your missing is a vise. For Gun’s, get the real avid gunsmith vise! It’s AMAZING!!!!

Not as fancy as yours, but definetly a life safer as I was drowning in random parts and accessories which was stressing me out. Nobody wants to invest time and money into a hobby that causes them stress becuase of something like too much clutter. Keep up the great work.

Since you have the financial ability, I highly recommend getting a safe for your components and powder for reloading. You WILL eventually get to where you have a disturbing amount of different powders on hand having it stored in a fire rated safe will keep it out of others hands and keep your house from cratering in a fire. You want to get about twice the size safe you think you’ll need. The 8lb jugs of powder will start piling up and keeping pistol and rifle powder separate is just easier to get to. I’m surprised you just didn’t put a vault door on the room and use the room as a safe.
@TacticalToolbox
@TacticalToolbox 2 жыл бұрын
I can't do a vault door because I'm renting. But as soon as I buy a house I have big plans.... Maybe even a private indoor range. But I agree on the fire rated storage.... The powders and ammo will be going into the snap safe

I have two guns I wanted to ask you about. Have you played with the Springfield xdm elites any? The elite precision model is light recoil and one of the most accurate pistols I’ve shot. And the standard mags hold 22 9mm. And the tracking-point rifle? They are absurdly expensive but amazing set ups. I had a version Remington briefly had called the 20/20. It could track moving targets and all kinds of things you wouldn’t think a rifle could do. Anyway thanks for responding. I know you are a busy man. I just ended my rotation and taking a couple days off. 😎 Be safe brother.

Hold off on buying a home till Biden completely F’s us all the way. I can’t stop laughing at dummy’s saying “this housing market isn’t going back down”. I have a down payment but im not spending trump prices in a Biden economy. Look up the great reset, they want us all permanent renters and he ain’t playing around with getting em what they want. Case and point, getting rid of fossil fuels by making them impossible to afford. If you buy in this market you will have to choose to put gas in your car to go to work and buy food, or your house payment. House payment doesn’t give you food or money. Cheers big ears!

Fellow locals must have common mindsets. I guess that’s part of what makes us a community. It was nice to hear someone else deal with the taxing effect of the tool issues and energy spent/wasted. At the same time, I hate that I’m not the only one who deals with this as well. Great video as always.

Love the idea. Im in the west valley and take donations if you need to make room LOL! I feel you on the housing issue. It's all about timing. We couldn't get anything, 2019, right before covid. We would go look at a house and before we showed up it was already sold. Crazy! We got lucky however. Ended up Apr. 2020 going new build. Signed up right before prices skyrocketed and come closing, lucked out again as interest rates tanked and cut our rate in half. Had we waited any longer, we couldn't afford the home. I hope you get what you are looking for as well. I am with you on the bubble issue. This cannot sustain here. Cost of living is up 170% since late 2019, early 2020 and no one is getting wage increases.

love the tool chest idea , I actually found a used 60" dresser on Craig's, I use the drawers for organizing , and put a wider top on it I also utilize the space between the top of the safes and ceiling , as well as a tall filing cabinet , again cheap on Craig's I use different pistol organizers , they are foam slotted caddies ,very space saving and finish friendly also , how you pack your rifles you can get way more in than the factory rests indicate , just be gental when loading them as for documents , even though. your safe is fire rated they should also be in fire proof pouches , they are inexpensive and work. the pouches are not meant for direct flame , but inside a safe they will protect docs , film , negatives, photos ,etc the file cabinet is perfect for mag organization, and is still lockable to keep curious rugrats out

You must get the Tim Taylor award for purchasing and needed the largest, most delicious looking and operating Husky chest on the market. It proves that there is always a reasonable solution if the time is taken to appreciate the importance of resolve. Thank you for sharing how a disorganized zone affects your motivation and productivity, I feel a similar pang of anxiety about any area of my home that became caught up in life, instead of the best possible working setup realized.

I'm a big fan of the rising toolbox top. Just an idea, when you start doing reloading you could mount the reloaded directly to the toolbox top and when you're not using the reloader unbolt it from the top and put little plugs in the holes so nothing small can fall into the holes. You could also do the same thing with a vise for building AR's.

Now I’m 2022 it’s worth double what we paid +/- . Anyone who is giving you s*** hasn’t ever bought in the bubble. You’re doing the right thing!! Thanks for all the videos!!

Loved your ideas, and gave me considerations for my space. If you're happy where your at, why not think about adding an additional build with a bigger space, if you own enough land to do so? You could also consider a tiny home. A 14 x 36 runs 9500 dollars in my area.

I was literally looking at the exact bench a couple of days ago. I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought of this. I even measured my area for it

Your husky bench tool box definitely cool and functional. Way better than my Walmart blue card table in my walk in closet.

I'm a fairly new sub. I'm amazed at the amt of research you do in advance, to make all these vids. You REALL give a lot of pertinent, orderly information on whatever the chosen topic is, that's being covered in the video. BTW, your "vid cam dude" does a great job too. Lol. Seriously, your sound quality & subject/background lighting, plus DOF & clarity are exceptional! I can tell that it doesn't all just happen by accident. 👍 Props to you & your efforts, Man. Excellent channel 👊

I’m seriously considering the exact same toolbox for my garage, but may need to double up and put one in my spare room! I have two 62” husky adjustable work benches for computers and watch work currently, but need to make my spare bedroom my gun room only.

Amazing setup, you can host shot show 2023. Regarding the housing situation, don't wait. If you have a bigger house, you'll get more stuff, and we will all benefit.

Love the tool box set up and the idea of having hidden storage for a firearm like that. How quickly does the hand crank open the top if you need to access the weapon? You have an awesome collection of firearms sir. I plan on checking out the new lessons you plan on having too. Keep up the great videos.

takes some cranking, but then you just keep your drill driver there. You can use that to raise and lower the top more quickly.

Awesome content, love your videos. Like what you did with the room, and that husky chest with the raisable top is awesome. I just might have to get a tool chest like that since it has the raisable top. Keep up the great work.

We moved to Arizona in 2021, brought that exact same workbench with me, (full of reloading supplies) then got another one cause I like it so much. The one I brought had a reloading press on top. I'm afraid to put stuff under the top, for fear of forgetting it's in there and not being able to find it, it's such a good hiding place. Anyway, thought I'd share cause it gave me a chuckle when you showed that!

Good info on the storage and the work bench. Sorry about the housing issues, housing is just stupid crazy right now and the sad thing is that while it may retract some in the future I do not believe that it will go back to the prehike pricing.
