There's a ps1 game called DBZ that I bought as a kid because my dumbass thought it was a dragon ball z game. It ended up being one of my most played games because it was a more fun version of soccer like the one in this vid. Except it has bombs, guns, and chainsaws. Not to mention button combos to do bigger damage on the enemy so you do a crazy wrestling move on them lol. Cool to see an older version of that game style.

While “The Satan” in Ninja Kids might just be a translation glitch (Japanese doesn’t really have a definite article, so its usage in English can be unintuitive), it also aligns with the usage in the Hebrew Tanakh. The book of Job refers to השטן (HaSatan), meaning something like “the adversary/accuser”. If you only translated the article, it would be “The Satan”. Just a neat little tidbit.

And as for Xexex, I remember playing it on the PSP Salamander Portable compilation. (Xexex did appear on the SNES BUT as a minigame in Ganbare Goemon 2.) Probably the most MOST underrated game from Capcom is Tiger Road, the Ghosts 'n Goblins unpopular brother (from the same creator Tokuro Fujiwara). Is a shame that Tiger Road was never ported to SNES (only and poorly to the TG16), is a short but very fun side-scroll fighting game (well is a 1987 game, so don't expect too much), with nice music and sound effects, and a hard to master jump as part of its proposal, and with an amazing Chinese folklore behind. At least Trojan had his own NES version, and GnG both NES and SNES: Tiger Road should have a sequel, remake, or a relaunch, other than the lost and forgotten hidden gem in Capcom's Classic Collection Vol. 2 for PS2. For me is a classic, and a must play game if you love the Side-scroll fighting genre. Cheers.

Rohga Armor Force aka Wolf Fang did see home ports to the Saturn and PS1 and is lots of fun. It’s the sequel to Vapor Trail and prequel to Skull Fang which is on the Saturn. Love Vendetta it’s one of my favourite beat-em-up’s and one I’m fortunate enough to have on arcade pcb a must due to its lack of home release.

Man, SNES drunk covers so many cool arcade games. It's great considering I haven't really found many other channels that do this.

Ninja Kids is great in Multiplayer Mode. Have it on a Taito Legends Collection for PS2 and I remember having a lot of Fun playing it with my Brother back then.

Totally played Vendetta, the animation of kicking the bad guys in the ribs sparked a memory.

I remember getting the NES version or to be more correct the Famicom version, expecting to be something like the arcade and boy we were in for a surprise, of course it was not before even we see any game magazines we were very young and living in a small town that you didn't get much of anything really. And after playing Tmnt2 the arcade game we thought that expecting an arcade port for the NES wasn't something outrageous

And this is why I like my snes classic. Because you can put arcade games on it along with your snes classics.

I don't think I will ever get over the unique combination of intense video game knowledge with serious sports references. I mean, I don't ever get the sports callouts but it sounds cool?

Hotdog Storm..."hot dog" as in "hot dogging/hot shot/showing off", etc. It's in reference to the aerial hot shotting dogfight action 😎

Even happier news for the Cap and the Avengers game; ZVitor recreated it on the Marvel Infinity War fan game. Not just a solid beat em up, but you pretty much can get almost everyone that was an Avenger at some point.
