If ever there was a beautiful mix of Copper , Brass , Stainless and Bronze it has to be with steam . Thank you John .

My mind turns to the movie African Queen when I think of engines like yours powering a boat.

John, you're so right about seeing your folks, there's hardly a day goes by without me thinking about mine and all the things I want to talk to them about and no longer can. Thanks for all the videos, see you when you're at a rally closer to Merseyside!

Thanks John

I wonder if heated air might be better to run and dry the engine? A simple electric element in an air chamber should do the job .

The first video on John's KZfaq channel that features the marine engine is from 2012, so it might be a bit older than he thinks! :) Time flies... It's always been a very pretty engine especially since he was working just from some pictures and no plans.

Great video John. That steam engine is really beautiful. And it's great to see it running. Did you make it from plans or was it an engine you restored? You're correct about your parents. I lost my dad in 1985 and my mum in 2000, my dad was my best friend and I still miss him terribly even after 39 years. Of course I miss my mum as well, but dad was my rock growing up. As you say if your parents are alive then Cherish them because they won't always be there with you.
