Mafumafu DOES use vocal processing for part of this song. Theres no other way to get the vocal effects. The distortions and layering. The range though? Completely believable for a tenor vocalist. Poor guy probably murders his vocal chords with the screams but DAMN they are spectacular.

As a singer myself, I actually doubt he’s hurting himself with the screams. He’s been doing them for so long and so often that if he was doing them with bad technique he wouldn’t be able to do them anymore. He has an absolutely insane range and the screams are totally within reasonable vocal technique.

why do people care if his voice is natural or fake, filtered, whatever? isn't the original song sung by a vocaloid? that's literally a synthesized voice, no different than a synth piano. who cares! OTL voices are instruments and music is about expression, who cares how you play or what you do, if anything, to it's sound in post, as long as it sounds good or sounds the way they wanted it to it's fine, and i think the sooner youtube commenters realize that the better lmao. if you want more natural sounding voices thats fine, go listen to music that features it - there's tons of artists that go for that kinda sound. edit - and if that's his natural voice, coolbeans, he's got a cool voice. i like it one way or the other, this comment is meant for the children acting like synthesized voices are inherently bad or whatever.

You raise a good point about people being able to express themselves with their voice however they want but Mafumafu doesn't 'fake' his voice. It is people like you who just cannot accept the fact that he is talented. Mafumafu has shown his vocal abilities many times in livestreams, real-life videos and at concerts. This song was originally sung by vocaloids but there are people who possess the range to reach those 'inhumane' notes. Mafumafu has been doing this for over 12 years so why wouldn't he be able to have amazing control when he reaches these high notes.

@@nepnep1525 oh i think you misunderstood, i don't think his voice is faked, that's why i said "*IF* his voice is faked" since that's what people were complaining about. at the time of writing my comment i didn't know one way or the other, and tbh i don't really care to find out because the entire point of my post was that i don't care if his voice is natural or corrected, it still sounds great and that's what i'm here for

猫mizu 俺はあなたの言うとおり地声を張り上げているだけだと思いますよ。朧月でまふまふの裏声を聞けるので、その声とこの動画での声を聞き比べれば分かります。 また、サク サクさんは「自分が出せるからおかしくない」と言いましたが、そういう人は珍しいと思います。珍しいから注目されているわけですし、俺は出せませんし俺の周りの人間も出せません。女性寄りの声帯らしいですが、正直女性でこの高さを地声で出せる人を見たことがありません(女性と関わらないからかもしれませんw)。でも約１年間練習すれば出せるようになる人も多くいるようです。 ただ、声を出すのと歌うのとでは違いがあるので、まふまふのように他人に聞かせられるまで上手く高音で歌うのは本当にすごいことだと思います。

The meaning of this song is very strong it's talking about world problems like suicide,politics,war and so on the the character is trying to"make a scene" that means that he wants to change the world If u don't believe me turn on the subtitles I don't need to because I'm almost fluent at Japanese
