What a great testimony God using you to console and be there for her. Think of the situation as maybe it was divine intervention for the flight to be cancelled and you making it home safely. Sometimes we have to look at it a different way and in life. This reminds me of how I was called in for a surgery at 3am. Mind you I just got off work at 1am from a double shift. As I was getting in my bed I get the call and for some reason so my husband can sleep in I went ahead and took my dogs out. Bringing them in one of them began feeling sick and threw up out of nowhere. In my mind, I’m thinking not right now as I’m was running late for surgery. Finally leave home 11 mins later and at 3am it was 6 car collision with a 18 wheeler. I got out and began assisting others despite running late and 3 mins from my job and I had to stop and thank God for those passengers and thank him being late. I know deep down I would’ve been in the accident if my baby wasn’t sick and still think about that from New Years. So thank him for covering and protecting you.

This vlog was beautiful❤ Though some challenges came up I’m glad you were still able to push through and enjoy your stay in Tulum😊 I planned a trip there in 2022 for my sister’s Bach weekend before the Tulum airport came about. My biggest thing was finding legit transportation because no one wanted to drive in Tulum because of police as you mentioned and limited parking. I’m sorry your experience with transportation wasn’t pleasant. I also explored the cenotes ,Tulum ruins & snorkeling and I agree it was a MAGICAL experience. I felt like I was living it again through your video. I definitely want to go back. All your outfits were fire per usual & your hair looked beautiful!! For those of you that may be traveling there soon looking for legit transportation. :::: I booked all of my excursions through the Viator app. All excursions included round trip transportation both to and from my airb&b and meals. I also booked round trip with (E-transfers) from the Cancun airport to my airb&b.) If your group is 3-6 people it will be private. Want to know more, feel free to ask me questions! 😊

Their customer service was 100% top-tier The resort was beautiful, and the food was great, so definitely look into that the next time you are looking for a great resort ❤

I go to Cancun twice a year, let me tell you, I stay at grand royal and the same miscommunication happens to us, for transportation from the airport to the hotel/airbnb you want to have your own driver, you can even look up taxi company numbers and set an appointment and they’ll be there waiting for you so it’s not so messy when you touch down. Also if you want to leave your hotel and do activities call the same taxi guy, they are very loyal and will always have time to pick you up and won’t scam you if you regularly choose them. Also learning Spanish helps ALOT

I am glad you had fun! I went to Tulum back in February and stayed at the same resort and I definitely can agree with you on the customer service part! The food wasn't to great to me besides the breakfast and the Italian restaurant! I feel like I am always getting sick when I come back from trips too I think I get it from the air on the plane smh

I stayed at Secrets Akumal when I went but secrets now has an actual tulum location. The international resorts at the secrets locations are amazing, maybe try one of those next time!

I’ve had similar issues visiting Mexico over the years. It’s all a scam. It’s convenient because I’m in Los Angeles, but taken them off of my list. I always break out on their beaches too.

Call Hilton corporate offices and ask speak with the COO or other corporate officer and let them know about your experience. Do the same with United. DOT has some new rules in place for accommodations so be sure you are taken care of. Houston had a destructive storm last Thursday. If you were traveling through on Thursday afternoon/evening, that would explain the cancellation. God made that young lady a distraction for you so that you could help each other through your time at an airport in a strange city. Glad you are home💕
