Join me on a magical snowy trek through frosted forests to witness the mighty 286ft Salt Creek Falls transformed into a frozen winter wonderland. This solo adventure involves a peaceful 1.2 mile road hike to reach the iconic waterfall, since the viewpoint road is closed during winter.
The payoff is jaw-dropping drone footage offering an eagle-eye perspective of the massive frozen cascade in its full glory. Up close, you can feel the power of thousands of gallons of water surging over the partially frozen waterfall. The surrounding snow-covered forest creates a serene winter scene far from the crowds. With relaxing vibes reminiscent of a Kraig Adams film, this video takes you on a breathtaking winter escape to one of Oregon's most spectacular waterfalls!

ahhhhhhh Mr. Zoomdak!!!!! Trick or Treat? hahah joking. OMgoodness, what did you do? I heard Canada had some snow, so did you????? I feel all sudden, freezing air in the living room. Everything is covered in a fluffy white blanket and yet the waterfall is forced to flash the water downward 0:09, 1:13 Can you hear? They are not ready to freeze. Were you excited about first snow? 0:35 Discover something extraordinary Awweee, like a little boy found a special candy 0:59 wow that icicle is so long OMGoodness, perfect angle to look at waterfall above 1:50 I really like hearing your footsteps in the snow for instance, 2:00 How dry and powdery is the snow? Was it hard to walk even with walking poles? 3:18 hahahaha I am pleased to see you talk to lens engaging the audience. Thanks so much for your kind words! I filmed this last December but finally got it edited and published now! I don’t go on snow adventures very often but perhaps I should go on more as they are so often so beautiful! Perhaps I should have wore snowshoes but mad it work with the trekking poles alone somehow ha ha! Looking forward to seeing your next adventure!
