Snow covered mountain to nearly frozen lake, SAME DAY!

Can I go from riding my snowboard and foil in the same day?! Why not give it a try? Sure, there are some things to figure out but that’s why the first thing I did was make some calls. Greg Dick, Corby Eagan, and Aaron Homer, my friends at Nautique and Nautique Boats of Utah got some boats lined up and they made it all happen! We even got to hang with Bailey Dunn, Team Nautique Wakesurfer, who actually lives near the base of Snow Basin Resort, and rips on snow skis.
Packing a wetsuit, life jacket, foil and snowboard gear didn’t feel normal, and it shouldn’t! Foiling should happen in the warm water, BUT it’s so much fun that if I ever have a chance to foil, I’m gonna take it!

That last shot with Mount Timpanogos in the background was iconic. I love the views while boating on Deer Creek, there's a glacier on the backside of its peak that it's visible all year. Unfortunately, unless you're schedule allows you to boat at 6am on a weekday, it's hard to find space and smooth water to enjoy boating there during the summer... especially on a weekend. Very cool to see you enjoying the local waters. ❄️🌊🤙

I have an idea... when you go back to Florida, pick the most perfect of days and drive a Nautique from Florida to the Bahamas. Get a team together and wake board, skate, and foil all the way there.

Wild man! Deer creek isn't the warmest lake either. Surprised you all didn't go to Utah lake even though the scenery isn't as good. Also for cold weather riding, neo beanies are amazing

Thanks Chuck! I edited this whole thing front to back on my own so I honestly really appreciate you saying that! I actually edit most of my stuff but my buddy Tim has been a huge help shooting and editing a lot as well. On this trip I had Cate and Mitch Siniscalchi shoot video and stills and they're awesome!

How'd they winterize the boats after the shoot? That's pretty risky business in regards to ballast tanks and plumbing, cooling lines for the engine and transmission, etc.

The Nautique dealer actually did it right at the boat ramp in a few minutes bc it's just a handful of plugs that need to come out and he stood up in the engine compartment and said "Done!" Super easy

in California you can snowboard, foil, and ocean surf in the same day easily

And in Cali, you could even find a lake that wasn’t that cold after a snowboarding session. Of course the snowy background shots are pretty incredible
