Why do the strums look like you're hitting them early? What was the NPS?

It's probably his audio and video calibration.

The NPS on it's own isn't nuts, but the stamina sells this one. Also, he probably is hitting them a bit early, it's not uncommon to have the hit window shifted (within the game's calibration settings). Oh, that could also be a side effect of desync between the camera/mic and game recording to some extent.
