That dawg ain't struggling! It's workin!!

Everyone in a northern climate knows the sound of a snow plow when they are laying in bed.

Growing up in Massachusetts I used to feel sorry for my friends living down South. There are few things sweeter than learning at 6:15 a.m. on a January weekday that there would be no school. Loved knowing I would be home with my sibling for a day of snow ball fights and as I aged, snow removal. I grew up on a farm so that meant there was no rest on those "snow days." One of the things I loved learning about as a teenager was how to operate a snow plow and the satisfaction of helping out neighbors with their snow removal. Where I live now we receive very little snow. Always felt our two sons missed out on something that prepared me for adulthood.

My route is all residential like that too. The loader with the plow and wing is so much easier to use than the truck. I know this guy's pain!

Great video, it is more enjoyable watching it in Spring time, not having to deal with the snow until winter.

I plowed with a Mack granite in 2012.. never had an issue.. Mack is the best work truck..

Can tell that driver was an experienced Veteran at plowing snow. And appreciate his skills and handling of that big rig. Years ago I worked in Grounds Maintenance for my local City Schol district. In the Winter when we had to plow snow.we had a big Ole Brockway along with the regular 4X4s the Brockway was what we called the Back breaker, due to having to use a lot of leg & foot pressure to push the clutch in. Let's just say there was a lot of chunks taken out of the curbing on the outer edges of the parking lots where we pushed / piled the snow, even my Supervisor took out a few prieces in several parking lots and bus circles whenever he drove it

That thing is doing a great job, no struggle there! I'm waiting for the plow to come down my street 😄

Plowing residential streets with a funnel or speed plow is not fun. It is much easier with a straight blade that articulates. Parked cars make it harder, got enough to watch out for when plowing, traffic, pedestrians, people pushing snow into the road. Then add parked cars. It is all good. If it was easy everyone could do it

Mack makes 1 great truck for this type of work. I use drive a 800 45 to 48 tons a load 10+ loads daily totally off-road. Only trouble was tires trying take the punishment.

In Wisconsin, we have city ordinances that prohibit street parking from 1AM - 6 AM

I've been employed with my town Hwy Dept for 21 yrs now n upstate NY. So I know how's he's feeling.... BUT. When the owners of those 2 cars walked out the front door that morning they would've thought they were in BUFFALO NY as the rest of the roadway would look like its a spring day!!

The only struggle I see is with the cars parked on both sides of the street. Driver did a great job.

Nobody would in blink at this in Northern Ontario...I think our small city has at least 10 of these.

It does make it easier to drive after the plows been through.

Nice that people park on the street. My town you get $100 ticket first offense per vehicle, $ 300 second offense, third your towed or booted and talk to the judge to get your car back.

The only struggle I see is them having to go around cars on the side of the road when all those people have driveways. Here in Massachusetts you get towed or a huge fine for parking in the road before, during, and after snowfall.

Man I did snow plowing for 36 year when I worked for town of islip in NY . Blood money Everyone thinks it easy just drive around . Well it kicks you ass . Next time. you see a snowplow in you area . Buy a cup of coffee .

It's not struggling with plowing snow it's being careful not to hit any of the cars and it's a pain to plow around cars... That driver has to watch where that wing is at. It sticks out there quite far and to watch it from the driver seat is far from being easy

By struggling you mean with no effort at all? I have seen snow plows struggle and they dont in anything less than 2 feet of snow.

Only struggle he is having is cars parked on the street. I'm a plow operator from New Brunswick Canada I have a few videos of plowing there is one the snow is that deep I have the V-plow on there is places the snow was over 4 feet.

Unfortunately, right up on that hydrant certainly wasn't a great place to like that snow (4:15). 😕 One more driveway down would've been wayyyy better.
