Nice set up, my wife and I winter camp here in Northern Minnesota. I have three things that I noticed that might help you. First I have a piece of spectra line that connects the frame ends together, it keeps the frame together when setting up and is a drying line after. Second I went to an aluminum grain shovel, the weight difference between the small red one and the big was not very much and it is a lot easier on your back. Last one we carry a small bag in the curl of the toboggan with a small block and tackle and a tree strap. It makes very easy work of getting up steeper sections. Thanks for the videos!

Love the spectra line trick and will apply it, grain shovel I'll look around, block and tackle is addressed because I actually use my canoe pin kit or Z drag kit which accomplishes the same thing thanks man!

Been following you for 2 years or so. I like your style. I live in NJ. Dec. 1st every year is usually my 1st overnighter. Winter only for me. LOL. I hope to see some vids from you this winter.

Saweet tent! a truly awesome setup Brian!...i could never use a sled or pulk in these parts...everything is either straight up or straight down!...have to use mules and horses, or carry it all on my back...backpacking of course negates any use of a stove...though i often use a canvas tarp for shelter...my tarp alone weighs 9 lbs...taker easy brother and thanks!...woods

Them mules and horses can carry a stove!

@@Snowalker13 and so they do, believe you me!...they carry five Stoves each fall into hunting camp, where we set up several wall tents and a big cook tent... but i was referring to just going solo on foot in winter...snow gets so deep the animals are up to their breastplates in the stuff...winter time around here, on foot is better. I know they make them titanium deals, but even then they would be a bit hard on this old sourdoughs knees!....LOl.....anyways amigo, i really like your setup...taker easy Brian...woods

Oh I believe that, is there any flater areas you could travel to?

In the winter yoy must carry more to survive. Yet it provides us an easy way to move much weight across it to survive. Intricate ecosystem

How do you make or find hard muscovado sugar like you used in your 18th century videos? Love the content!
