As a mountain walker I say nice one, this looks great fun! And hat off to you for your courtesy and slowing down when you saw walkers. Maybe I’ll see you on snowdon one day soon!

I love this run, in particular on a nice summer evening after work. 2.5 hrs up and back down is my best! Never had any negative comments from walkers, only encouragement so it's a shame to see people hating on this video in the comments. A minority seem to have a sense of ownership of the mountains in Snowdonia. I'm sorry but I will continue to shred them on my bikes until I am old and unable. Great vid.

KTMSparky I did this on Sunday (walked), did you get the train up and ride down? Cheers

It’s not the ride that makes this hardcore. Not by any means. It’s the fact he’s on top a mountain in north Wales with no bloody gloves on! Wow it’s cold up there almost all year round with a breeze. Hats off to u pal👍🏻

Nice bit of riding I did the ranger's path last summer and had a OTB at the first rocky bit after crossing railway line broke finger and snapped break lever so that game over for me until I got to CYB

Did you go up that way? Is it doable easily? Looks like some walking is involved.
@russelljamescostello6 жыл бұрын
Yup I went up the same way. There're bits which you can ride up but there's a good chunk that's a push/carry! Fairly doable if you take your time.

Are there any alternative routes that allow 100% full riding? Is it feasible to do anything alongside the train line or anything?

Seeing the grades on this route gave me a new respect for this path that I’ve seen to be distinctly lacking in some forums. Still wouldn’t hike it though

Good on you lad, don't worry about the negative muppets on here, if they weren't moaning about mountain bikers they'd be moaning about something else. I think it's a genetic thing! 😂
