We don't get much snow here in England sadly. We had a big load drop last day of November and first of December 2010, and it was wonderful.

The snow melting on the pavement is mesmerizing to watch
@Computist404 жыл бұрын
@Draggy654 The pavement especially asphalt is hotter then the grass. As for concrete, it's the salt that helps melt the snow away.
@phillydeeznuts14204 жыл бұрын
Also the pure power of the sun just melted it

My favorite part is when every neighbor comes out at the exact same time to shovel snow, it's like a bunch of ants as soon as they find food

Love the vid. Shame we haven't had any snow for a long time here in the UK :/ Scenes like this are what I miss the most but what I instead wake up to is just flooding and wind storms! Hopefully you all enjoyed the snow and make us proud!

Sadly northern Ireland is with you, when we get snow however it does come in feet, only lasts a day before rain and 6 degrees spoils it!
@iliveonjupiter9 жыл бұрын
Yep :/ We once had 3 foot of snow here in December 2010 :) I'm just north of London and it was bad here. Let's hope we can get some proper snow next winter :)

Last extreme snow we have was in 2015. 2016 there was nothing. And 2015 it started to snow on November 27 and ended on April 4. The entire December was the extreme snow. Oh if your wondering, I live in Minnesota, USA, North America, Earth.
@astroliviu731511 ай бұрын
I can't understand how in America the snow starts putting first on the road. Here, in Romania, the snow starts putting first in the gardens and on the grass, and only then it starts putting on the road. 😶

You have clear, dry pavement the day after the storm ends. Man, I wish that happened where I live. It will snow 6-8" at a time during the winter, and then they come and "plow" 2 days after the storm after everyone has driven on it and packed it down. Oh, and the snow does not melt where I live. It will thaw a bit a few times throughout the winter but doesn't usually melt all the way. Eventually, the roads get so rutty that people with normal cars can't safely drive on them, and the city will come throw a little sand on top of the ice thinking that will somehow help.

Beats User what qualifies as a blizzard? I mean here in ma we get 1-2 feet of snow regularly
@erikmorozov17402 ай бұрын
Actually, it's like every 1-3 years so while blizzards are not as common as in other areas they can and have occurred in Seattle so while blizzards are not uncommon in Seattle they are less likely than Like in Snoqualmie pass and additionally weather patterns are influenced by many factors like air Temp El Nino & La Nina and some other factors so it's not safe to say that it's every 6-8 years
