do we need to know sql stored procedures to learn snowflake or just sql is enough , because i see here stored procedures ?

Not all the companies use stored procs in snowflake, so not mandatory but SQL is 200% mandatory.

Earlier it was JavaScript, now it is snowflake SQL scripting

instead of sysdate use current_date() or current_timestamp()
