Great video! Thanks for going through all the steps! Not a bad job if you have the setup you have. I have a 2006 T660 Turbo Touring LE, 136" track. I'll probably have it done since I would have to try to do it on my portable lift. With that being said, the lift may be more in my way than helping me. Either case, all would be done crawling around on the floor. Great job!! 👍

I have done this a couple of times on a 1998 Skidoo Grand Touring. I estimate that this took me 6 hours to do. (There is a manual reverse on this snowmobile.) One thing that I have done in taking out the rear suspension is to remove the keepers for the large springs on both sides. This collapses the rear suspension, and makes it a lot easier to both take the rear suspension out, and put it back in.

im working on switching a track from a 800 mountain cat 141 in track and putting into a 600 mountain cat I think that was a 136in can't remember since track broke off... can these tracks be interchangeable with each other? I tried getting it in over weekend but maybe I'm just not lining shit up right? any info would be appreciated !

Thanks for the Awesome Video!! I have a 2006 T660 as well but, it's a turbo touring LE. I plan on changing mine out in the spring of 2020, I'm sure the change would be similar. I have an unrelated question for you........ How do you properly torque your drive belt clutch sheave adjuster? 🤔 I can't find a way due to it opening up the sheaves while tightening. good thing your side panels come off or youd be fucked putting the bearing back on pto side.you always put your bearing together your bearing flanges both are to be in place with the bearing only thing you should have on shaft is locking collar THEN you put your drive shaft back in place.

+NEILVVT Instead of taking all the gears off, couldn't you have just loosened the chain tensioner and just take off the chain?

Would this be about the same process as changing the track on a 12 M1100 turbo? Going to do mine here shortly.

Hey Neil, when try to get the reverse gear off there appears to be a snap ring i need to remove first?

You don't need to touch the exhaust/inter-cooler do do this job.

How long you think it took you in total to do the job ?
