I haven't explored the second map yet, but I've noticed that at least on Duncan Bay you can easily bypass the ferry and most of the broken bridges. The only challenging bit seems to be the road running down the middle of the map where that rockfall is. I did manage to winch my way around it a couple of times. It would have been a bit more challenging if they didn't offer you so many alternate ways of crossing the river. That crossing south of the ferry kind of makes it pointless in a way, unless you're driving light trucks or scout vehicles.

Once you build the railroad warehouse, life gets so much easier.

Yeah I think that does help, plus there’s a lot of height to the maps too which is nice. Lol yeah I’ll probably end up doing the same in that case, the gateway is pretty simple to get to

@@Adrian_Zgripcea yeah I reckon they added the shallow crossing next to the boat, incase the idea didn’t pan out, but it does make it kinda pointless I agree. But maybe they’ll add it to a future map with a bit more purpose, if people like the idea maybe?

Yeah you never know with this game whether it’ll take the trucks and trailers at the end, or not? Not a bad idea though saving the trailer for other stuff. To be fair in this case it gives you the kenworth after you refuel it, so you could do that, then put the fuel back in the scout trailer, and then recover the kenworth and it’ll get fuelled back up at the garage 👍🏻

Yeah I’m just doing a review video and I noticed the same. It’s a shame it can’t have a saddle low as then you could take the water tank, and a trailer, but there’s not as much stuff with the saddle high. Still, it’s better than not having the option at all I guess

@@itsmrlonewolf felt the same, needs a high saddle water tanker if they’re going to artificially block us like the high saddle special trailer. The 5600 needs a high saddle since it has 3 axles in the back and plenty of room. Artificial hindrance I guess

Ahhh ok thanks man 👍🏻. This map feels even bigger but I guess it must be the amount of steep hills and mountains too, that fill the map up even more. Compared to flatter maps like the phase 8 ones

@@itsmrlonewolf you are most welcome 🐺, it's easy to measure the size, from the garage or from any truck, just mark one point to the northern map edge, it will show the distance, then delete the point and mark another point to the southern edge, the sum of the two measurements is the north/south map size, repeat the same for East/west dimension... it's a simple method and anybody can do it.

@@itsmrlonewolf also semi trailers on the ferry can cause it mainly the one near the factory in the corner did twice might be different for you.
