I feel like the most important thing to focus on is we finally got mud tires on American trucks. That alone makes so many more trucks viable later in game and thus makes the pack worth it.

About tyre performance on rocks, I once saw a remark from a modder who said that basically there is no coded tyre behaviour for rocks in game. Which in my experience translates into this: every type of tyre lacks real traction on rocks. I was about to add "except chained tyres" but that's only true for _ice-covered_ rocks. If some vehicles (modded or not) appear to perform better than others on rocks, it's probably due to other factors like engine power, frame length, vehicle's stability and centre of gravity, etc. My thoughts on the Tyre DLC: it's not that I can't afford to pay 3 euros for new tyres, it's that in principle it seems so ludicrous to charge users for additional tyres, and especially ludicrous not including this DLC for those who purchased the Year 3 Pass. And especially especially ludicrous this late in the overall game arch, after 11 seasons. I have an overall 91% region completion in SnowRunner at the moment, and I achieved it using only vanilla trucks and tyres. I can do without this DLC… Cheers! //Rick

The tires behaviour is actually not that bad. It took very steep inclines. If there are mod tires that makes those situations very easy, that would be unrealistic.

I suspect the issues on the rocks was more the fault of the jeep you put those tires on. The jeeps just can't have particularly big tires, and those small tires are gonna have problems trying to find something in the rocks to bite down on. Probably not true for all the rocks that gave you issues, but certainly would have helped in some areas.

These tyres have made great difference to scout mud performance for vanilla players, don't you come here saying that it was a waste, go play with your OP mods

Saw the new tire pack and the w990 and was pretty excited about the tire pack first cause i was just more curious about that dlc and when i tried it out, Well... I just don't know what to say honestly... Then there's the new Kenworth W990 DLC that also has well mostly negative reviews on steam so i don't even now if i want to buy that dlc . Which is a shame because i actually like the look of the W990. Anyways dlc rant aside enjoyed the video as always TC!

It would be worth it if the Devs had developed this to give all the Jat tires at least a 0.5 to 1.5 boost instead of 0.1 to 0.2, especially as in the later map DLC's the mud texture has become much more slippy

Honestly, I think this tire pack was a great DLC overall, especially comparing with the Kenworth W990 without AWD. This tire pack will give a boost of life for many scout vehicles, as you saw on this video.

I'm always happy to buy the new DLCs to support the devs given how many hours of fun I've gotten out of SR but it just doesn't sit right with me that it's not part of the season pass. A season pass used to be everything, that was the whole point of getting a season pass. Now it feels like any cool new DLC they release isn't part of the pass anyway

Getting some giggles from some of these comments, just keep up what you're doing girl. Onto the dlc pack, while it is nice to finally be getting more tires for scouts and larger trucks, it being paid dlc rather than an update is quite strange, especially with how the community has been asking for such items for years now. However it is a step in the right direction and I hope with the feedback they can make further improvements on the wheels and tires of the vehicles in this game.

Новые шины. Что касается дизайна, то шины для скаутов действительно вышли классными, они выглядят реалистично и уместно на них. Имевшиеся до этого шины скаутов в игре, кроме стоковых, как по мне уродливы. Что касается новых шин для больших грузовиков - в большинстве своем они уродливы и не уместны, а главное у грузовиков и так зачастую большой выбор шин. Что касается их характеристик - было бы интересно провести тест на разных грунтах и поверхностях и сравнить с имеющимися. В целом вывод неоднозначный - с одной стороны они добавили пак шин и не так чтобы дорого, с другой они сначала понарисовали уродства, теперь предлают это уродство заменить другими. Туда же и новый грузовик. Опять грузовик без полного привода в игре про бездоржье. Серьезно? Вам больше нечем заняться?
