I bought the 74941 because I needed something that could go quite literally anywhere. I used this to pull a truck OVER the mountain on Kola Peninsula. Had no issue what-so-ever. In the recent updates too, it received an active suspension upgrade, so you can now actually lift the thing when you need to.

Looks like 10 wheel azov was also fixed. Yay! Tested it for a bit after watching this. Still has low clearance but it doesn't stop dead repeatedly on every slight bump or incline. Much better

The heavy Dan is the best in the snow. Because of it's independent suspension, it drives right threw most snow with absolute ease. It does have some trouble with the deepest snow, but it shocked me when I brought it to Alaska. Its a snow killer

Kolobs or P16, the only Heavies worth considering. (aside from the CAT which is, as you said, an even more niche heavy)

The paint is a bug. Because when I originally purchased my Kolob is was all painted in the blue camoflauge I purchased, after the first big update on console broken. Went to the default paint on the nose and the rest was in my chosen scheme.

Great content. Its hard to find a youtuber these days who doesnt scream around and rage, the sarcasm and irony in your vids make them pleasant to watch and quite interesting 😀 👍 Regarding the G29 on PS4 - gotta get used to it - releasing a precision driving game without steering wheel support is more like making condoms in shape of Gouda cheese. Still need work on these in my opinion 🤣

On PC, you can select the buttons for alot of controls, and with 1.5, you ware able to assign buttons for gears, so I mapped them to the keypad in the shifting pattern, I don't have to use the clutch now, just press one of the keypad numbers and you're good to go

I see Mud, on the Mud Truck, with mud tires, or possibly mud trires, that stick in Mud and get Muddy, with all the mud thats flying around. Mud is nice.

I see so many people that hate these. I have the 74941 and from what I've seen, it's impossible to get it stuck. I took it straight through that nasty mud pit in the North Port and it handled it like a champ, even with the giant drilling trailer added on.

For CO-OP mode if you got a friend have him use a off-roader that isn’t the 5 ton (ANK) or heavy duty, the Azov 42-20 Antarctic is a great pull truck and with the ability to tow some trailers and have a flatbed, you’ll get things around with ease. Trust me, once I got the antarctic I used with friends and the game became super easy as I dragged around everything. I know it’s not a popular or well liked truck due to it smacking it’s nose into ground like the Kolob’s (pre patch) but my goodness do I love it.

Nice vid, good stuff! I think either is ok as a plod along tractor but like you say there are better. Hopefully there will be more for them in future dlc's to make them a bit more usable and popular.

So either you buy the boxy cabin kolob truck where you can put red/white/black camo on (wich looks amazing IMO) but knock your chin everywhere or you buy the more wedge shaped kolob with no fancy paint options but you don't break your chin ever 5 seconds... I'm probably gonna skip out of both trucks, depending if I need more muscle to tow trailers.

I've not reached Russia yet, but in Alaska thus far I've not really encountered any chin-breaking terrain with the Kolob yet - though Alaska is pretty flat overall.

The 74760 might be a tad faster but I think the 74941 is just more consistent

The paint on 74941 is a glitch that was added with the rift update... it comes standard in camo and before you could paint the whole truck. Also it is impossible to roll the 74941!

I prefer the 74760 (red camo 🤘). May not be able to do everything, but it's one of my main workhorses for heavy trailer towing or cargo carrying missions. The active suspension option is definitely a very nice extra to have. The only thing I've noticed that it struggles with are those REALLY steep hills, especially if it gets caught up on big rocks or a tree.

Tayga is obviously king. I’ll use that truck when I’ve been frustrated a couple of times and I just want to get the job done and move on. But my favourite truck to drive is the heart-breakingly tippy Bandit. The interior is so unique... like a little room. And that medium-strength crane is often handy. That said, admittedly the Bandit is also unreliable and thirsty. Even with the extra fuel rack, I have to drag around another truck as a portable fuel tank that can also flip the Bandit back upright, as needed. But I don’t care. I love that derpy truck. I can’t help it.

I think both trucks are top tier and similar in that they require skill to maximise! Because I've tipped over in both countless times but usually you can make up the time.

Awesome mate. And that's nice to hear they have improved these vehicles. Did that patch also apply to that 10x10 Azov I wonder? The Kolobs are quite relaxing to drive and that big nosed one sounds like a waterfall :) I wish there were more options for the high saddle tbh. Surely the 3700L fuel trailer should be for High. Yeah you don't need that much damn fuel but... it would be kinda epic anyway... cruising round looking cool n whatnot xD

The color on Kolob 74941 will be fixed soon. As well as the hit box of ground clearance on 74760. On PTS 6.3 on PC it has already been fixed.

Both vehicles is wonderful for all conditions. Problem is they tend to extreme sensitive snap apart from trailer. :/

If you drive in any kolob in michigan with a trailer you will get stuck either on the way up a hill or you will get embarresly stuck between rocks

I don't like the hevy trucks because i don't see a purpose for them. They are extremely niche at the current game state. I really wish the game had some challenges or missions that you are forced to use a given truck. Also it would be great if we could pick missions to re do

The first map in Alaska there's a contract to haul a _huge_ heavy high-saddle trailer from the bottom of the map to the port, and it features a pretty short but difficult stretch of deep muddy swampy snow slush - as well as some really tough steep corners - that I found pretty gnarly getting _anything_ through even without a trailer (including Tayga with the mud tyres) and the Kolob 74941 was the only truck beefy enough for me to haul the aforementioned trailer with. They're largely pointless trucks, but there's a very small but particular set of roles that those trucks are made for.

Kolob 74760 got to low suspension. Bottom plate are only half of tire over ground .... ull hit ground many many times and on mud its very slow. After moding high only 0.1 point its great truck with best engien sound in game

man when i first bought this TWINSTEER long truck i was sooooo soooo dissapointed to find out that twin steer is only front steer like the other trucks...maaan..and these 4x4 and diff lock upgrades where sooo hard to find without knowing where they are...i was cleared almost every location and never found the 4x4 upgrade for this truck...in my desperation i found Ben's channel ''A tribe called cars'' and he showed me so much things...im very thankful because i was really desperate...even with only front steer this ''twin''steer truck is very good looking to park infront my garage for a picture with ALL my trucks and scouts hahaha

I love how the 74760 looks & gave it a chance. Gave it a good engine & sent it merrily in Drowned Lands to find some lost & forsaken don71s. It tipped over & over.... and came back empty-handed. So much money, yet so disappointing.

It's outclassed by quite a few trucks. The active suspension helps a little (in phase 2), but some developer love would be nice. It's not as powerful as it looks.

@@ATribeCalledCars Yeah, that's sad. In terms of function, I believe that the kolob twins actually occupy an important space. The 50 inch space haulers like the 73210 & DAN are limited. The next space is the 59 inch... which sadly see both kolobs performing poorly.

Im still just really confused in the Season Pass thing, like, if all the new things have been released and i buy the season pass, will i get all the things or do i need to have it from the beginning of all dlc releases?

ok so the patch really help the handling? When I tested these trucks, it was difficult to handle 74760 because the front bumper could completly stop the truck even for the biggest trailer, I'd choose the voron grad^^ nice video like always

Found a lot of success running with a stick sensitivity with 0.44. Try not to flick the stick. Using 1st person helps see where the wheels rotation is at. Good luck hope this helps.

With regard to free vehicles, one was for pre-order and the Khan came from the deluxe edition. You can buy them separately. As for if it's worth buying, I would say yes. The extra content should be good.

To be honest I don't get why u only get to tow the special trailers and the heavy gooseneck trailer with the high saddle. I mean the gooseneck has 3 load points why would I choose that over a low saddle with 5 load points.

I don't understand what the High Range Gear is for, can you explain please?

It's for faster performance and keeps you at a constant speed so you can maintain momentum. Fast trucks benefit. Not so good in the worst terrain or when carrying a heavy load.

@@tyrekewilliamsstaglon2161 You have to be moving. Too slowly and you stall. You'll soon learn when to change, usually second gear but can vary.

@@ATribeCalledCars hello what music did you use?and the kolob 74760 is a bulldozer and always gets stuck cuz of the unremovable bumper, it is rediculous when the truck it self preforms very good but the bumper ruins it all

It’s not in the season pass, only the pre order, you’ve got to buy the Navi5000 as separate dlc for like £1.79 or something... I think 🤔

and no, tayga 6436 can't do everything, because it is so short that you can't fit a loading bed and a crane at the same time. the same about big crane and any trailer

You don't actually need the crane and loading bed too often and if you do it's easy to use another truck. But for everything else it's the most versatile versus performance. There's a reason why people stop using it. The game is too easy.

@@ATribeCalledCars, personally I use only manual loading. And avoid recovering to garage too much. So that game wouldn't be too easy, you know... like hardcore mode in SpinTires and Mudrunner.

Man I just lost 6 vehicles on ps4....that I know of. I turned it on and they were gone, and one i sold a while back (STEP) was in it's original place again. You know anything about this ?

That's weird, definitely complain to the devs. Six trucks is excessive. Usually it's one or two that people complain about.
