Thing I noticed in the interior is that shares the same dash design as the 80-86 F-series Fords we're a real one doesn't. Still like that the truck has the twin traction beam axles in the front which was unique to Ford's Rangers, broncos, and F series trucks from 1980-96.

Neat. When I was a kid my dad had a 1st gen 4x4 Ranger regular cab. My brother and I were goofing around and broke the passenger window out of it on accident.

I've been playing around with the ford and the best set up is to leave the v6 so I dont slide everywhere and I would recommend putting the offroad gearbox because it dont slip down to first gear like the highway gear box

Absolutely LOVE this mod. My first car was an 86 Ranger that my mom bought new when she got out of the Air Force and drove it across the country from Salt Lake City to Ohio. This is going to be my new favorite scout.

I almost bought one of these from an old mechanic/retired racer from my area but he wouldn't sell it to me after I test drove it because the oil pressure wasn't right and he wanted to work on it some more. It was such a cute truck.

It’s a fine effort but the instrument cluster is incorrect. Rangers from this year had round gauges. For information see the motorweek tests of the late 1980s ranger. Still given what you had to work with its a grade A effort
