I totally agree. I played snowrunner for a couple of months but i couldnt play more and i returned to the mudrunner bcs there is not an offroad spirit in snowrunner. i feel like im playing gta or something. but in mudrunner, i really feel the offroad spirit and its really cool to see that my car is getting fucked up with mud.

The point of a neutral gear is for a damaged transmission to shift into by itself forcing you to fix it

MR has bad physics and terrible mechanics compared to real life so that's sad to hear.

I just played 10h each of spintires and mudrunner. Mudrunner is arcadey as hell and so sanitized compared to the older one. Also as of today og Spintires graphics looks really good and with a way better atmosphere. Its sad its dying. MR physics feels really bland after playing ST 1.7.1.

and the weightless trailers in snowrunners & terrible suspension making most trucks unstable.

Have you even driven a vehicle yet? MR is the worst simualtor I've ever played. The asphalt roads are mud or ice. It's like driving with plastic tires spinning out doing 20mph. Automatic shifts at 500rpms, you hit 5th at 25mph, top speed is 30mph making v8s feel like they only have 5hp. Steep hills have foot deep mud where water should be draining. 1st gears have a top speed of 5mph. The games a joke. I don't want to be burnt by SR

@@jonmacgyver743 for a 2017 release it was fun for me. Everything you said is true and it's frustrating for sure. I eventually played snow runner more then not and got pretty far into it. It still has it's problems though.

And because mudrunner is mud-focused game in my opinion, I find it more challenging and relaxing cruising through muds (as that’s the challenge to me). and snowrunner is more like the average “transporting game” where you deliver things from point A to B, with much more distracting side mission and addons that I’m too lazy to deal with.

I just picked up Mudrunner for £10.50 with American wild lands etc. Want snowrunner when it’s cheaper.

I thought the same when I first played it its a lot easier and faster to move the gear stick around in mud runner and I also noticed that theirs no cruise control in snowrunner but there is on mud runner

I see a lot of people comparing the physics in MudRunner to SnowRunner, but both games seem pretty realistic. SnowRunner is much larger, and has better-looking visuals. It is also easier, according to these people, so I would say SnowRunner is the better choice for a beginner.

Mudrunner is not very realistic at best. I've Uninstaller twice after a few hours. Never played snow runner but I won't spend money on the sequel. If you've never driven in these conditions or only commute you'll probably really like this game.

@@weston9201 Honestly I’d say Mudrunner, as your situation sounds a lot like mine at the time. I hadn’t played any Spintires titles and didn’t know what to expect, but wanted to drive some trucks and enjoy the scenery. I now have both and really find myself going back to Mudrunner more. But there’s pros and cons for sure. Snowrunner being more recent, has a lot more content and a bit more variety. That said it’s almost all paid dlc, Mudrunner included everything with the base game. Some hardcore guys like the physics of Mudrunner more, particularly the mud effects/graphics/physics while some prefer the more open ended gameplay of Snowrunner. What’s in the title is obviously what you’ll be driving through most (duh) haha so there’s that too. Guess to sum it up, I think Mudrunner is easier to jump right into, has better environmental effects and prettier terrain. Snowrunner has more content, base building mechanics and more trucks, but you pay for all of it and the learning curve is a bit steeper. Just my two cents but if you’re still unsure hop on over to the SpinTires discord. The guys over there are super helpful to new players and know far more than I do. We’re talking 1000 hour vets haha. You can also add me there and we can get into some easygoing multiplayer. Hope that helped!! 🤙

im not surr anymore,its like they make you do so many misions,you need money and xp to unlock vehicles so you end up grinding for cars-in old game,if was just about completing a level,so even tho those maps are huge,it doesnt feel good going through them unlike mudrunner,mudrunner did dirt better,it was more chill and offroad and something about trucks i liked more

SnowRunner has 30km of map, MudRunner has 8km, it's just simply better in all aspects for me

Isn't the point of the games so that you grind for more trucks and money and also that the game is not a casual game.

Yeah the snowrunner is so much better compared to mud runner plus that is a modded pickup which is usually about 2X faster than all the standard mud runner vehicles

In my opinion its way more fun in snowrunner bc you start wih crappy vehicles and work your way up to the good vehicles and also mudrunner vehicles dont have upgrades

Everything is better in snowrunner though I agree this guy said that the mud and water physics is the same but its definitely not after playing both of them from release can say its totally different in every way they made this game with a new physics engine so theres no chance that they are the same at all

@@ProGaming-oh3cf the old game was also shitty 32-bit, so its kinda annoying how people were pissed they didnt just update mudrunner. It was already at its limits, thers only so much you can do with a 32-bit game. Thats why mudrunner can run on patatoes. Edit: I will also add that getting stuck on fallen trees is pretty similarly unrealistic like in mudrunner, but it is definately not as bad (since they have more freedom of movement and break easier than in mudrunner)
