The Twinsteer seems fast to drive but I didn’t think it would be 2nd fastest in the game.

Royal BM-17 is a great truck, apart from highest speed its off-road characteristics are pretty decent. It's great for 4 spot cargo handling.

I always use the high gear to launch trucks (after starting in auto) because it removes the struggle of the gearbox that most of trucks have. And most of the time I keep it because it's faster than auto in non ideal road like this one for the test.

Well no surprise here most of the trucks have their max speed effectively halved compared to the real life counterparts, and fuel consumption increased by multiple orders of magnitude in order to give the impression of scale in maps

this is really nice, could we get a spreadsheet where we can see all specs compared to each other, like top speed, fuel effeciency,... i really like the video's but its sometimes difficult to compare different trucks

FYI, mud tyres have nearly no friction on paved road and chained tyres have almost as much friction as highway tyres, this was extracted from the games pak files and are posted on reddit, so chained tyres had a huge advantage vs mud tyres

How can the Khan Marshall be so far down the list when it literally tries to kill you when you clutch kick it from 1st to 4th with the stick gear box... not to mention the highway gear box which is probably even more sketchy!

Utterly surprised! However considering I never use the highway gearbox/tires unless I have to that changes the playing field I suppose. Would love to see the same test with snowrunner box since thats everyones go to. No-one uses the highway box or tires as soon as they can get rid of them.

I was surprised by the results, especially Yar 87 vs Khan Marshall, so I did the exact same test myself, several times, with different configurations (but basically the closest as possible on both cars). Every single time the Khan was slightly faster. A few km/h at that fence at the half way, and a few km/h at the end of the straight road (although I wasn't able to get that one for the khan with the best engine and the highway gear). I used the Azov engine, the Kr135 engine, the standard gearbox and the highway gearbox, AWD on and off on the Yar. I kept the default tires on both cars for one test and then the non default tires on the Khan for another test, then tested the Yar 87 "highest ranked mud tires" then the chained tires. For each config I did 2 or 3 runs. Difference isn't that big between 3 and 6 km/h but from all the tests I did there is no doubt the Khan is faster. It didn't lose a single test. Top speed isn't a huge difference but the acceleration is also way better.

I was actually quite suprised with the Ankh. I guess mostly because I couldnt get to that speed before I flip it, but yeah, twinsteer and the Royal are very scary if they get high gear

ANK MK38 is definitely the quickest. I've tested it against every vehicle. I have a game clip of how fast this thing gets if you want me to send it. I'm on Xbox. I used the winter map with the international airport and my camera in first person fell behind the truck from achieving such incredible speeds. No glitches. Just a straight run

My favorite is the 4520 because it looks the coolest to me and from what I've seen it is a great offroad truck I'm saving up for it

The royal bm17 has crazy torque in low+ with off road trans.

I have gotten the Twinsteer to over 60 mph on the airstrip in white valley.

They have one troble with registration marks on russian cars. For registration marks In Russia, we use only that letters from russian that are simular to letters in english. Thats why you can never see this letters on regisration marks: Б (sounds like B), Г (G), Д (D), Ё (Yo), Ж (Zh), З (Z), И (i), Й (iY), Л (L), П (P), Ф (F), Ц (с in "pencil"), Ч (Сh), Ш (Sh), Щ (SHCH), Ь & Ъ (soft sign and hard sign, uses to make sounds more soft or hard, by themselves have no sound), Ы (Harder i ( this sound cannot be expressed), Э (Something between A and E), Ю (Yu), Я (Ya) Put this letters in translaitor to hear their normal pronunciation

Yes! I knew Royal would be the fastest cause I use the highrange gearbox and speed down the roads and drift and stuff, also it’s such a great and really good truck to drive and use.

The only thing that makes it hard to be sure of is the tires used in the test. This is more of a practical speed test because no one uses highway tires for anything. But unfortunately not all vehicles have mud and chain tires to make sure the only variable is the vehicle itself. It made me happy to see the twinsteer so high up though, lol. That thing hauls ass.

Nice vid great content. I just have 1 critique. I wish you could have at least shown the actual speed instead of them lumbering down the road at the same pace. I know the top speed is posted, but when you post 56mph and it looks the same as last place well it just looks a bit off
