Snowstorm Winter Camping w/ WOOD STOVE🔥❄️ | BACK AT IT

Күн бұрынWe camped in our 13ft trailer through a snowstorm, receiving 14" in less than 6 hours and night time temperatures down to -15f! We stayed warm and cooked steak on our miniature wood stove. It's only been 3 months since we moved out of the Scamp (after 6 years!!!) and it felt every bit like home.. so much so that we might just move back in after this epic trip!

I wish I knew why I love these videos so much. I'm a 56 yr old woman who does not camp. A friend once gave me a button that says "My idea of camping out is when room service is late" lol. My husband loves camping. In any case, you two have such a great, warm vibe and a welcoming community... I never miss a video!

My wife and I have been following you guys for years... This is probably my favorite post you guys have done (at least since you got your property) We watched it in our DIY renovated '70s camper sitting next to our roaring cubic mini, with our two dogs that are the same ages as yours, on the Sonoma Coast of CA. We've been so inspired by your journey and this lovely bit of Zen theatre was just the perfect tonic for a crazy, busy, uncertain world. 🙏🤙✌️

LOVED it! The Scamp had been your primary residence for years. So, going back to the Scamp hearkens that warm and cozy feeling. Kamp reaching up and touching your arm, Elsa was priceless!! 😊🐾✨♥

I love Kamp telling pilot off. He is saying “hey that’s not what we do in here”. This was an absolute delight to watch, of course I am loving the house build and the A frame but this was for me going back in time. Your life is changing for the better but your roots will always be in scamp xx

Elsa Rhea and Barron. I love that you have remained very humble with this journey. I have recently unfollowed a few KZfaqrs due to the constant “look what we bought” “look what we spent” and all the toys. You live with nature and don’t destroy it. Love this. Kamp and Pilot are so adorable. Kamp is like really mom and dad. This thing is bugging me. Hahaha. Keep up the amazing videos.

It's so rewarding to see snow at that level. Here in New York City, there's nothing. When I was little we had snow up to put necks. How I miss snow now that I older. Thank you both for sharing this moment. Be safe and enjoy your life, Maranatha.

This video was wonderful! I felt like in some weird way, I went home with all of you as well. You make the scamp living look effortless and so peaceful. I loved seeing kamp back in his old bed. I’ve watched you two for the last 5 years and it brought me back to the feelings I remember when I started watching. I am living in my 15’ trailer which is just as cozy as yours but it’s just me now. My Great Dane died 2 years ago. It was so fun seeing the snow. Those Subarus are such great cars. I had 4 of them. Keep going forward with your lives. Great video. Thanks❤❤

I love Kamp, but I definitely adore Pilot! Apparently, she gets all the discipline and waits for being told when to start eating, while Princess Kamp is defiantly spoilt. They are both treasures, though. But, bro, Pilot has a gift for snoring like real guardian dog. :-D

Glad you're "back at it". Really like you guys, subscribed for about 5 yrs, but have to say since "scamp life" ended, I haven't watched regularly at all. The adventure, the extreme alternative lifestyle, is what I've missed and have to say I enjoying this one very much. Not asking or expecting you to go back to the way it was, because life moves on, but that time, it seemed to me, was sweet, peaceful, as you said. The way you said it inferred that your current life isn't actually peaceful because, as you said you have so much going on so many things to do. Makes me and I hope everyone who heard it question whats really important in this one life we have to live. Thank you both. Bless you.

remembering Barron going down to collect water at the stream a couple of years or more ago, remembering how Kamp seems to become disobedient when snow is involved and used to love leaping up and down through it - and remembering the first time I ever watched one of Elsa's videos and she was cooking breakfast OUTSIDE in just such a freezing landscape - I was hooked!
