Really miss this blue sky background and this dance practice video style. Free outfits (they seem wearing their casual clothes), simple camera, even low quality filming but idols in previous generations still killed us with their dance.

The other members just have very strong visuals, Yoona Seohyun Yuri Jessica Taeyeon Tiffany Sooyoung, any of those 7 can have the Visual position if they are in other groups. So that puts them always in front. Plus Hyo can't sing well, she always has the least lines.

They put Hyoyeon in the back most of the time because they didn't think her image would raise ratings if she were put in the front. They didn't think she was "pretty" enough to be in the very front. Which sucks, because I think she's beautiful.

Just like the other person replied, that's Hyoyeon. She's actually what others call a 'dance machine', which means she can easily pull off complicated choreographies. Unfortunately, she gets the back row most of the times, and she's not very liked, simply because some believe she does not meet the 'beauty standard' or 'level' of the other members, which is sad, because I believe she is gorgeous.

This was from 10 years ago but I'd just like to clarify that this is pretty normal with most popular main dancers(momo from Twice, Hoshi from Seventeenm, Minho from Skz, Chaeryoung from Itzy etc) because putting strong dancers on the sides is just as important as having a fairly well off dancer in the centre Some groups have two main dancers and one is usually put in centre a lot more than the other(flashy dancers such as hyunjin, Yeji, Momo) and the more technically advanced dancers in the sides(Minho, Chaeryoung)
