Girls Generation was extremely popular during those days. Between stadium tours, albums releases, variety shows, comebacks; they had no time to breathe. I remember Taeyeon saying that during those days; because the group was in such high demand she can't remember three years of her life because she had no time to take it all in.

@@ayarizqy actually back in the days, Hyoyeon isnt kmown for variety, if you look at the very early years. like during Happy Together or MBC Come to Play, or Win Win, and Strong Heart etc.. Hyoyeon dun really appear and even if she did, her air time is limited. Hyoyeon is quite shy and maybe also she has this idea that being a main dancer she is expected to look cool or hip, and not make ppl laugh like a gag man, she is more funny with her members in dorm as snsd said, because she is comfortable with them, she is probably more at ease nowadays after like over 10 years.

@@mimorisenpai8540 I understand, dating has always been controversial. It was the co-ed camaraderie that I was referencing. Back then there was a lot more boy and girl group interactions. They used to do so many variety shows together. We don't see much of that nowadays because as soon as a boy or girl group is seen even standing too near each other, their fanbases go after them. It has limited a lot of interactions and would have friendships.

This is so funny I love going back to watch old variety shows but I’m like 95% convinced Girls Generation would not survive 4th Gen if they debuted in 4th Gen because fans and viewers of 4th Gen groups are so fast to scream and accuse members of bullying each other and that’s what SNSD did for fun 😂😂😂

I was vaguely aware of K-pop and J-pop around 2012 I guess, and I thought they were basically the same thing...cute young girls lip-synching to bubbly pop songs and doing weird hand movements/signs for no good reason. Then in 2019, I stumbled onto 'Sister's Slam Dunk' Series 1, and wondered why Tiffany was absent so often from the show, despite being the first cast-member to be introduced. So a few seconds of research on her revealed she was in a group called SNSZD/Girl's Generation. But I was so enjoying the 'SSD' format, I decided to search for more 'variety' shows, but featuring SNSD. As a result, I found 'Girls Go To School' and began watching that even as I continued watching 'SSD". I became and SNSD fan FIRST, because of their personalities, as I watched these 'reality' shows and various interviews, long before I began listening to their music and watching their MVs and concerts. Basically my passion for SNSD began with them being natural comedians, first, before I discovered how great they are as singers/dancers and overall performers. .

I felt so stupid and i was so bad with faces back then i wanted know them and found clips of them in variety shows and fell in love with them. I like many songs from other Groups better, but in variety shows SNSD is Nr.1 for me.

The most incredible thing about Girls’ Generation variety shows isn’t how incredibly entertaining in hilarious they are. They still give you unstoppable laughter even if it’s the young teen time you’ve watched it I swear to God I watched these shows for at least 10 times each but now stumbling across your video it still makes me want to rewatch them.
