I really like SNSD because they have Taeyeon, Jessica, Tiffany, Sunny and Seohyun as the vocal line. And have Hyoyeon, Yuri, Yoona, Sooyoung, and slightly Seohyun (since Seohyun is also very good at dancing too and always at the in front) for the dancer line. Hyoyeon, Sooyoung and Tiffany also good at rapping. I mean, they are like so balanced. Every members has their own speciality 😍

Sica has the nicest vibrato among them. Her mix sounds really balanced.

Sunny is so underrated in SNSD, she is a gem under the dirt.

SM really is full of beautiful people with amazing vocal talents.

Jessica and Sunny were such a good combo; Jessica has a lighter and higher pitched tone, with the weakest higher register, and strongest lower register. Sunny has a slightly darker and heavier tone, with the weakest lower register, and strongest higher register

1. Jessica good at adlibs and high notes, her voice is soft but powerful even have a good pitch control. 2. Tiffany good at adlibs, have so much power, the best low notes among SNSD members, so much consistent vibrato. 3. Seohyun best vocal technique, not have so much voice character, good pitch control and not her voice not that powerful. 4. Sunny the widest vocal range among the SNSD members, kinda unconsistent head voice, vibrato, and low notes.

Jessica seems to lead a little bit here, Seohyun's musical moments are usually her best moments, they both show more resonant notes than the other two. Sunny/Tiffany did fine up to B4, maybe C5 for Sunny. Tiffany's singing after B4 shows a lot of issues regarding her pitch, placement, breath support, and so on. Jessica and Seohyun show the best consistency here (obviously they're not too good either), but they've managed to show more consistency with support, placement and even resonance up to C#5. Sunny sometimes has more ease than Jessica/Seohyun but she is so closed and shaky for the majority of time after C#5. None of them supports after Eb5 and sings with a high larynx, but Tiffany... shouts.

I really love this video. These ladies look so great. They are really talented. Jessica is literally the best here, maybe some people are ignoring her for being a main vocalist, but y’all should know that she has talent so much. She is really consistent with her notes up to D5. Seohyun is coming after her, Seo is more consistent than Sunny and Tiffany. Then, these two ladies (tiffany and sunny) are in the 3rd place where tiffany is better for some moments. But, you can’t ignore that sunny has a very beautiful vocals. In the clip that shows Sunny’s nowaday’s vocals, She is more opened and looks so enjoy for reaching those notes.

I just recently watch about Sunny opening about why she declining about soloing because a vocal director once said that her voice is boring and it affects confidence in singing. That must be the reason why her technique in singing hasn't improved compared to seohyun and tiffany.

Sunny sounded the most consistent.

Like she didnt improve or something. Her voice sounds the best when she's singing with the other members, has the most distinct voice in snsd. Seohyun- i lowkey think she's the member who can go very high in her mixed voice compare to the other members, but i feel like when she's singing with the other members, her voice can get easily overshadowed. Her voice is too airy sometimes especially when she's going hiiiigh (problem) idk how to explain it. Her voice doesnt have that idk, sharpness? When hitting high notes. Her mix is mostly heady. I feel like if taeyeon is absent then she would be the best choice to sing taeyeon's part. Sunny- i feel like her voice was wasted especially during their debut period( 2007-2009) when they used to sing very cutesy and high pitched songs. Her head voice is the best in snsd. Her potential in her mixed voice is wasted tho. I feel like if she was trained harder then she couldve been up there with taeyeon since she has the range and ease already even when theyve just debuted. Tiffany- in my opinion has the best tone in snsd. Her voice sounds the best in studio version. I have to admit that her singing sucks when they just debuted. Its like. She was pushed in the vocal line and she's not really up there vocally compared to the other vocal members during 2007-2011. And i have this feeling thst when she sings high then her voice will crack any minute. And thats not a good thing. Lool. But i think that after her debut then she improved alot and used her voice smartly. Her mixed voiced is still very pushed anf strained but atleast she could belt random eb5 and higher now without her cracking.. I personally believe that shes up there with the other vocal members now. She have the best lower register during debut and even up to now. Her voice voice improved alot too. Taeyeon - the best snsd vocalist.

Jessica's voice is very distinctive. She is not main vocalist because her line distribution of both korean and Japanese are ranked after tiffany and before seohyun. But in fact she did so much harmony and adlibs so that the song sounds good.

Lol It’s funny how they didn’t even include Taeyeon in this comparison. She easily ranks first in the vocal line. In terms of technique, I think Seohyun has the best out of the four, with Jessica coming in second. I’d put Tiffany and Sunny around the same level technique wise. But SM gives Tiffany notes that her range can’t handle, which is why she strains a lot.

To me Jessica is doing great but I feel like her voice is too strained on higher notes and that it requires more effort for her than it does for Seohyun.
