In this video we explain why capacitor pass AC supply and block DC supply
Basically their is two main reason which we explain in this video
In DC condition capacitor block because capacitor when charge than they behave as a voltage source and potential berriar creat so capacitor will block Dc
While in AC condition this condition not appear
And second condition is CAPACITIVE reactance
In dc supply capacitive reactance infinite so no current will flow
And in Ac capacitive reactance has some value because in Ac has frequency
So these are two main reason capacitor not work on dc supply

Hello, I’m new to electronics. I understand how a capacitor blocks DC current, but allows AC current through - there are MANY videos, explaining this phenomenon. What I don’t understand is, if it blocks DC current (in a DC circuit) then how can the DC circuit function? If current is flow rate/electrons moving, and a capacitor blocks the flow of these electrons, then how does the circuit function, at all? Please someone, explain this to me. I want to learn. Thank you kindly

*Capacitor act as open circuit, it doesn't allow current to flow through it.* Then how can current flow. Are you saying that capacitor act as transistor (npn or pnp) If you don't know anything about electricity then don't give false information. I think you don't understand English at all and you interpreted it completely wrong.
