I think the last row should be 5, 6, -5, -3, -4, 4, -3, 4 Makes it easier to breathe and the sound is completely the same

I vaguely remembered that my granny kept my grandpa's harmonica... I just asked my mom what happened to it... Maybe it's still around and I can learn how to play it * ^ * . I already play the piano and the ukulele... Id love to learn another instrument like this

I added tabs to the description. Numbers mean the notes as they're marked in harmonica, "+" and "-" mark when you either blow (exhale) or draw (inhale) the note. Follow them along the song and you get the pattern.

So awesome! I love Snufkin, Kamelot, LOTR ++ myself (seen your uploads) Roy Khan is actually from my country, miss him as a vocalist so much.. Anyways, I just got my first harmonica, can't wait to learn :) Any beginner tips?

To quote my favorite tip: "Practice your ass off" ;) It'll take time to get accustomed to the instrument. First shots at playing WILL be awkward. Other than that: Pick a good song you'd like to play for starters. Learn the harmonica tabs so you can write down and play anything you like. Don't get too self-conscious if people around you start complaining/making fun of the noise. ^^ And make sure to pick songs in the same key with your harmonica, otherwise the result may sound dissonant. And most of all, have fun ^_^

Probably by bending. Notes like that were the main reason why I switched to chromatic harp ^^'

Is there a way to play this song with a 16 hole harmonica??? Or is it the same tabs as it is for this video since I realize that your harmonica has 10 holes and it doesn't sound quite the same when I play it

Obviously tabs are different if the harmonica model is different. You gotta work out the arrangement that suits the instrument, the same notes likely come from different holes.

Elaborate on "terrible". Does the melody sound "wrong" compared to the tabs or is it the overall sound of your harmonica?
