Nothing screams a masterpiece than the great superman destroying the city with Zod when he could have lured him away from the city, having his dad say he maybe should have let a bunch of kids drown so that he can stay hidden while constantly exposing himself like with the semi truck while still sticking to that belief at the time, that dumbass family who plenty of room to get out of the way of the laser, the stupid tornado scene, everything being dark grey and miserable with a main character who wears red and blue, and everyone telling him how great he is and how much of a messiah he is to the people while shoving the Jesus symbolism down our throats like a sledgehammer to the nuts with every character being Nolanized in a bad way with them saying how important everything is in a dramatic way with no time to them for development. There are some very good things like zod himself and the whole krypton part, but there is also some very stupid things in it.

I 100% agree. I see people saying that this movie will never beat TDK. Now I love Christian's Batman and everything Christopher Nolan, and I'm the first who will come to its defense. But I have to say that because those people haven't seen the film, it's not because they don't think it will beat TDK. It's because they don't want to see the king dethroned 😂. Now admittedly I can't answer if it will beat that movie either, but you should always wish for something better or just enjoy it for what it is. Besides, comparing things that are so different can cause you to walk away with a lackluster experience.

Yea the fans became so toxic after the Snyder Cut, now they trash dc movies that arent made by snyder and sometimes other superhero movies as well(mostly the mcu). Now I understand what the “You either die a hero, or live long enough to become the villain” quote meant.

The only Snyder things I liked were the things he didn't have much involvement in. I thought James Wan's Aquaman was great and Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman was the best depiction of the character because it emphasized how she liked Man's World rather than actively complaining about it like in the animated cartoon and animated movie.

The Snyderverse movies audience score averages out to the same % as the ones that aren't connected to his, which consists of 5 movies as opposed to the 6 Snyderverse ones (MoS, BvS, SS, WW, ZSJL, and Aquaman). As for critic scores, if you want to take the site that has The Last Jedi sitting at a 91%, Far From Home at 90%, or something like Spy Kids at 93% as a credible source of critics' opinions then go ahead I guess haha. Snyder was only supposed to do 5 films himself, which would perfectly lead into Barry resetting the timeline with Flashpoint- allowing Snyder to have his exit and let new directors come in and have their take on the characters. If they hadn't abandoned that plan then it's likely that his 5 film arc would already be done by now or close to being done anyways. It's like if they teased Thanos at the end of The Avengers and then fired the director (who unironically was Joss Whedon) and retconned the entire movie and never continued building the infinity saga. Do you think MCU fans would just sit idle and let it happen and try not to convince them to continue it? I can confidently tell you no they wouldn't because that exact same thing happened with James Gunn and the 3rd Guardians movie.
