Geno Auriemma praises Nika Muhl's 14-assist game in road win at Tennessee | UConn Post Game | SNY

Nika Muhl dished out a whopping 14 assists in UConn's road win over Tennessee on Thursday night, and could not have received more praise from head coach Geno Auriemma after the game. Auriemma lauded her tremendous night as well as her character, saying that he's "only had a few players like her in my career. She's unique."

Nika is the heart and soul of the team. And a warrior. If she was told to get in a boxing ring with the heavyweight champ she'd probably take them up on it without hesitation.

I will never get tired of listening to the coach talk about Nika. I love that they appreciate each other so much! They are two great professionals who love basketball very much.

Nika Muhl is a Boss ! She is a warrior and a grinder the kind of leader every winning team needs. Stewie,Moore,Bird,Taurasi etc. are great uconn players but this current shorthanded crew might be my favorite literally beating the odds against them everytime they step on the floor

I gotta love Nika -- she plays how I always strove to play. She's 100 times better, but same style LOL. In your shorts defense, always pushing the ball, and always looking for the dime on the offensive end.

He says, "She's unique, I've only had a few players like her in my career." LOL What it means to be unique? being the only one of a particular type; single; sole. without equal or like; unparalleled. How has he had a "few" of those "one of a kind" players?? He may be using that word wrong :)
