Vocaloid fans didn't pay loads of money just to see a TV screen. And what's worse is that nowhere was it advertised that we would be seeing LED screen instead of holograms. We need to hope that the team behind the concerts see this issue and make sure it doesn't happen again.

I went to the Vancouver show, I had a lot of fun but I am still upset about the many things that easily could have been fixed. 1. They didn't have enough staff checking people in so about a third of the customers weren't inside the venue till two songs in. 2. There was barely enough stock of the merchandise for a quarter of the stadiums seating. 3. The set list was mostly unknown/not very popular songs so the crowd wasn't very energetic. And a personal problem that popped up, 4. There were no washroom around outside the venue. To top all of this off we paid a lot of money to end up (barely) seeing a LED screen.

From the way many describe the lack of concealment of the screen, it seems a simple fix would be just to adjust the lighting away from the screen, and sizing up Miku and others on the screen to make it more immersive, but I don’t know.

I'll be at the Denver one. Hope its a better experience. I went to 2016 and 2018 so I'll be pissed if its not better then those ones.

Vancouver, BC wasn't the only show that had the LED crap vs the promised holograms... Portland, OR also fell victim to the same crappy quality and setup. There's a theory afloat about Coachella and whether or not it'll be a hologram show there, and THEN the rest of the Miku Expo 2024 US Tour will follow with the proper format/presentation? I guess we'll find out as that comes and goes. I'm holding onto hope for the Boston, MA show... The last saving grace would be the Newark, NJ show since it's the one before Boston's, but I 100% agree with you Blake... The advertising is stupid and wrong and misleading etc, and had I have known they'd do this I wouldn't have spent like $200 on official ME 2024 merch (hat/tshirt/hoodie/official glow stick.. OF WHICH THEY SAY IS NECESSARY AS THIRD PARTY GLOW STICKS INTERFERE WITH THEIR PROJECTION... WHAT PROJECTION?..) With that said, I attended the 2014 and 2018 shows in NYC and they were f*cking MAGICAL. I was so happy (esp in 2014, since it was my first ever experience with these concerts). Seeing the evolution of this whole phenomenon going so wrong sorta breaks my heart. I hope all the ranting and raving fans have been doing the past week or so is heard and something is done about it soon.

I went to the Expo in Portland, and I'll say my experience was REALLY lucky, so it wasn't that bad. I got pretty close VIP Tickets for original sale price. I got my lightsticks/march in their first online run without any issues, and when I got to the expo I got my VIP Merch bag, and my seats were pretty close. It felt like a pretty normal concert experience. The LED screen was disappointing. It wasn't integrated into the set very well, but honestly there were a few times where the light were low that it was still pretty immersive. The band members did amazing and the music was 10/10. However, if I'd paid big money and travelled long distance for the hologram expo experience and wanted more merch I'd be really upset. Especially because the merch stands offered so little, and they ran out of VIP merch before all the VIPs even entered. My experience was pretty good, but a little disappointing. Knowing that's the best review most people could give though.....is pretty crappy.

I seriously hope they can make a change before the Texas venues. still about 2 weeks away, Otherwise its gonna be a mid concert at most, But nonetheless My friends and I are still going regardless because its been so damn long since we went to a vocaloid concert in NA and we had already bought tickets like 6 months in advance.

I’ve been a miku fan for years and this would be my first miku concert. In fact, my very FIRST concert. I hope my experience with my mother would be good and I don’t want to regret this

i’m nervous for the AZ show in 2 days after seeing videos from the other stops so far. i’m excited for the concert still, but it really says something when these tickets are reselling like crazy for under $60.

i was general admission for the miku expo in vancouver and i got a little lost so i ended up a little farther back then i would have liked because my eyesight isn’t great but man i was just so happy i got to finally see miku live, it’s something i’ve always wanted since like elementary school, so the tv screen was a little disappointing but for me personally the experience in general made up for that, especially because i got to see not just miku, but rin and len, kaito, meiko and luka. would sell my soul to see them live again. but everyone and this video makes good points

Got tickets for London in October and i hope they fix all this by then but honestly seeing that crunchyroll is sponsoring it this year im not super hopeful

I’m calling the Prudential center NJ and Crunchy Roll if I have to and find out before I buy tickets. The price is going down anyway.

I went to San Jose, and the led screen was actually a better experience for me! It does indeed break the immersion, but the light displays in the background are very cool and I enjoyed it very much. I think if you haven’t seen it live, you shouldn’t bash it too hard, although I believe they blended the screen in a bit better with the band set up (like, the “boxes” they were in) in San Jose than the first 2 shows, and I loved actually being able to see the band. I do think they should have disclosed this information before the tour, though. My actual issue with this year is the set list! There were no where near enough iconic songs. Just compare it to 2018’s set.

Did they at least have a live backing band?

GUYS: Apparently the crappy LED presentation is due to a contract CFM has with Coachella... After Coachella it's being said that the promised hologram presentation will finally show up this year. I still don't understand why CFM or CR hasn't f*cking JUST SHARED THIS PIECE OF IMPORTANT INFORMATION, but I guess we have some closure to the issue?

I was there, and let me tell you, Miku was REAL bro! She was there! I couldn't even function it hit so hard. I was crying the whole time. The girl behind me was LOSING IT!!!! The music was AWESOME!!!!!! It was all like lots of new stuff, and a lot of songs from Study with Miku Part 1, 2, and 3, and I studied with Miku with those mixes for the last 3 semesters, so it hit HARD bro! Those were traumatic debilitating semesters, and Miku got me through it
