Congrats! I'm really happy for you that your wife decided to help you. I always admire those who beat their addiction. Knowing it's possible to fix your life knowing there's people out there that have done what I thought was impossible gives me hope I will make it through as well. Those who share their experiences don't know how much it helps when you're about to give up, it gives you the strength knowing somone who actully know what it's like to go through this tell you it's possible, it's not the same somone telling you you can do it when they have no idea what it's like, but hearing somone who knows what it's like that helps a lot since you understand it firsthand and made it out gives so much hope. so thanks for sharing.

I'm Canadian and I do not drink beer other than the occasional cold cider or craft beer in the summer. 2 nice drinks should cover me for several months. I bought alcohol from the local govt organization here and just never drank it. I'm shocked America sells so much booze. Your alcohol stores with neon sign BOOZE flashing in the window, gun at the cash by some mean mug, CASH ONLY is a very unique phenomenon.

This stuff is bad news. I tried it. It does give a pleasant buzz, but you build a tolerance faster than anything I've ever tried. I had to exercise extreme will to not stop and buy more the next day. I've never been tempted to try it again. I've seen people buying 4 or 5 bottles at a time at $30/bottle.

@DonnellOkafor-pd7yn yes. It hits opioid receptors. I was weird. They come in a bottle of 20, I think. I took 4 and it was kind of euphoric. After a little while it wears off and the other 16 won't bring you to where that 1st four did. It's been over. A year, so I'm trying to remember best I can. I would stay away. You can easily find stories online of people who were throwing ungodly money away on it just to not get sick. Definitely not worth it.

It's legally prescribed in France and many other countries at therapeutic doses and has proven to be an effective treatment for depression and anxiety. It can be abused, though. That's true for so many psychiatric drugs. The reason there's all this propaganda against it by the authorities is that their pharma corporation masters can't patent this drug which was discovered in the 1960's. These companies and their corrupt FDA stooges will likely prevail and ban the drug eventually. Then, they will make some pointless modification allowing them to patent a version, then they'll say this version is "safer" and all of a sudden it will be prescribable at a hugely marked up cost to our medical system. It will also probably be less safe than the original. That's how this scam works.

@@Pax_Mayn3 Did you research it? I've read multiple studies and it takes around 100mg to reach the effects of traditional opioids, that's really not as strong at all. Its more accurate to call this drug gas station Zoloft because of the increase in the reuptake of serotonin. By the way you're right this is not like kratom, kratom is way stronger. The main chemical in kratom is 7 hydroxymitragynine and is 13 fold more potent then morphine when its gram vs gram.
