I did this!!! For an incoming blue baby boy! I’m so happy and it’s so cute. Idk how she made the bows so perfect but ill buy premade ones and add them. This is such a great gift. Cost was $22 for the diapers (2 Packs of 36 for the age of 6 months and below) - Huggies from Walmart $2 for the towel $5 for the lace white giant ribbon that wraps around the entire thing $3 for the mini ribbon $1 for the thin ribbon that wraps around the towel (We did not add the tiny baby in the basket and instead filled it with other things we already had, and we did not add the wheels, because the stability was poor) We put it in a $10 basket from Michael’s. This was such a fun DIY and I fully recommend

Just give them the pack of diapers, the parents will be grateful just to have them and don’t do this it’s not sanitary especially if you bring it to a baby shower and put it on a table that tons of other people are going to have to touch and it will be annoying to unwrap all of those elastics for them later

Do what you want….. & Ya know. Maybe not tell others how to gift or show love. I LOVED my diaper cake. Making on for my sisters shower this weekend! My siblings all are. It’s a competition & a fun way to add to the stock pile. It’s only unsanitary if you make it unsanitary lol. Diapers are rolled. The part that touches the skin is all covered up. I hope you’ve grown since making this comment. Doing this isn’t for everyone. Being boring & basic isn’t either. To each their own. Excuse me. Ima go make a diaper cake for my sister to love & enjoy the same way I did with one I got. My mom made an octopus 🐙. Shhhhhh. Don’t tell anyone. 🤓

Младенцу новорождённому наверно даже побрезговала бы это надевать. Предпочла подгузники в закрытой пачке. Хотя, выглядит очень красиво. И в упакованных пачках, возможно, подгузники тоже не стерильны.
