The airdrops definitely take some practice. Only ships I’ve hit DC’d or forgot they were playing. 😂

These ships are so fun! Got both Connecticut and Nebraska. The Connecticut has really good fast firing, accurate guns. Once you get used to the planes, they are nasty!

The torpedoes are difficult to aim, but the mechanics of it are actually really simple. Press 'Y' or *triangle* to swap to your strike squadron, then use left trigger to aim it. Once the reticle is in view, you can use the left joystick to move the attack pattern around so the strike occurs from an angle of your choosing. You'll want to give lots of lead depending on your target's speed, because the strike takes about ten seconds to reach the destination, and the torpedoes will need a few more seconds to reach the target once they're in the water. I've heard that the automatic targeting provided by the squadron's aim assist is good to use, much like the aim assist of regular guns, although I haven't tried it yet.

I don't have any unlocked, given my crate rng that's very unlikely, but I've played against a bunch of them and so far shooting at them they seem way tankier than I thought they would be. Apparently very hard to citadel and the flight deck/hanger is surprisingly resistant to BB AP.

The torpedo bomber in this ship is realy hard to use. I dont know what WG think to put this kind of mechanic

I run my with AL Colorado full reload build with Paolo did revel and Jhon Fisher. Just a tip for guys struggling with the torpedos, never use the auto aim, and go for nose tanking targets, sure the RNG might screw you, but even hitting one torp might get you a flood

Connecticut is great. I have noticed she is accurate and has AP that will smack Cruisers. I had a hard time with the torpedo bombers too but it's gotten easier with a little bit of practice. The mission Camo makes Connecticut look good.

Crazy game despite the typical teams and you’re right about Nebraska, ive only had 1 good game but im sure it’ll be better when i get the upgrades. I also did get Vallejo from the 4th bundle 😂

Even 5 years since the release of the game some destroyer players think that their job is just to destroy battleships theres the problem.

I got the Connecticut out of one of the crates from the gxp and silver bundle, and then i got the Nebraska out of the USN hybrid crate from the first day of the commander calender. I do love them but its been hard trying to get a good game in them bc everyone is focusing these ships bc they are new. They are trally fun though

went full whale and got every hybrid together with vallejo, i like the connecticut, nebraska can deliver one hell of a punch when it behaves but lord have mercy om whoevers goes broadsode to delaware. i near dev struck a maine 17 km away. got the Louisiana but given how fantastic legendary tier matchmaking is i recon it's gonna gather some dust before i take her out for a spin.

So what's the in-game description of this ship? What hull is it based on?

Love this ship better then FL buy far, its guns are so good, and for the most part accurate something FL has no clue about, hit harder then FL, but 14in at tier 6 is not that great with so many 15in/16in ships. Wish they went with 15in, be the first US ship in game with them. The trops are fun, but thier lack of speed hurts them. I think this class well get a buff down the road maybe after the commander comes out to at least up the speeds for all but tier 8 and Legendary, Because this ship the Connecticut trops are slower then Langley ones the 7 just beats it, plus only one airstrike hurts it to, WG must think this ability is so op, when its not. They had a great modle in the De Zeven Provinciën it should have been like them, it has three its not op, Now I left this on another video but deleted it put it here, I just got the Vallejo in 5 pulls, went to look at it and on the back of it on port screen by the rear turrets I see something two small red planes those are drones as the fighter plane is much bigger when you put it on, they even come with a small luancher that looks like a log spliter now it not used and goes away in gameplay, now was that on the test ship? If not this could be a sign of the future spotting drones, War Thunder has it for high tier tanks, now I know WG and War Thunder are not the same comany but spotting drones would fix the spotter plane nerf, or worse bring about missles on ships in a refits like the Iowa-class when they were refit in the 80s and used drones to guide missles in the Gulf War, As for the challanges it takes longer but I just use my secondaries to set fires and main guns using AP for the incapacitations on DDs, got it almost done 28 left to get, and that is with iut using my Massachusetts. But today I well be using Massachusetts. As for way we can not take control of the planes if we think about thats like having who knows how many CVs in a game yes this are BBs they are CVs. So unless you want games were it could be 2 or more perside were they are played as CVs like on PC, plus maybe a real one added it be no fun, lets be happy they are not.

Teams need to take out these hybrids as soon as possible to shift the game back in their favor. Make them public enemy #1.

I have the Connecticut and I'm having the time of my life with the guns, and struggling with the torpedoes. So should I use a universal style commander? Or a ship specific commander? And what commander inspiration do u suggest?

Was chased by a F.Cara and a destroyer when I first tried Connecticut Though I'm sort of adjusting to it, But trying to aim the torpedo bombers is flat out irritating

The T8 one great until you get shoot at it seems that will is the easiest one to citadel thought the entire line to me it is the worst one thought out the entire line

I been getting alot of shatters with Nebraska ap . Idk wy but when I shoot broadside light cruisers and broadside iowas I get alot of shatters . Please let me know if u have the same issue

How do you do the air strike on the hybrid ships

For me, if I press either joystick, the aiming seems to lock in the angle I had it in or want it in, idk if this is a thing, but it’s something I noticed

I remember playing this game on launch five years ago. Three nations, US, Japan, and England, with three ship classes each. The game has always been reliant on RNG, which is why I stopped playing it. And looking at it now. Dude that ship is an abomination Respectfully This is kinda what happened to the PC variant of the game where they kept pumping new material into the game like submarines and newer and bigger aircraft carriers.

Don't know what they did to that ship, but those are not Florida guns. Way more pen, way more accurate, way more reliable.

Events a bit shit tbh. Not pleased that your kinda forced to spend money to unlock these early access ships if you want to work your way through the event challenges. The event currency is pointless too as your limited to a chest which can only be putchased a couple of times. So basically the whole event costs you real money unless your happy getting tonnes of US camos. SHIT!!

Nebraska ap is garbage is shatters on everything. 5 slavos I shot at mainz ce and half my shells would shattr on a light cruiser .it's bad I had to put Robert Jojo. The accuracy is great but the ap sucks at time . I use al Colorado and do great but with Robert Jojo I cit bbs and cruisers now no problem

I don't get it. i have won 2 of my 13 games in this thing. Its cursed. Literally cursed. Even if i get 130k plus we lose. I have a 60% overall win rate. I hate this ship
