@@italhairy Sohyang actually learned to speak English when she was young by watching Disney movies and TV shows (she realized a dream by providing the singing voice for Moana in the Korean-dubbed version). She's a cancer survivor (uterine cancer). The major entertainment companies have begged her for many years to become a mainstream singer, and she's considered it, but she remains a Contemporary Christian singer (her husband was a drummer in a CCM band) and she prefers to perform in churches (although she is well known for her appearances on TV shows and award shows). For good reason she is called the Korean Mariah Carey (when she was young her parents got divorced, leaving her family in economic difficulties and causing her depression - depression which she overcame by listening to Mariah (Music Box is her favorite album), Whitney and Celine Dion) - and, oh yes, she became the first Korean singer to perform the Star-Spangled Banner at an NBA game. She's teaches singing technique, writes fantasy novels, but - Most Importantly - believes her goal is to use her voice to comfort people who are going through difficult times - and I think she did that with this MV Stefano. (Btw, my cat gives me comfort to - makes it easier to get through when I am depressed.) God bless and continue your reactions

Stefan, So Hyang is a special singer. She is a cancer survivor (after surgery when she was 21 years old, she cannot have children). She stayed a Christian singer until she was about 35 years old, so she stayed relatively unknown to the rest of the world. She entered into singing competition called "I am singer" in 2012, "Immortal Songs" in 2014 and "Masked Singer" in 2017. She started gaining worldwide recognition starting in 2016 as international viewers started to take notice.
