Sohyang actually was suffering from Pneumonia during this performance, her doctor told her a few hours before not to even speak! However, she still managed to perform such a beautiful rendition of this song!

Dear Brothers, SoHyang is the real deal, what you see presented when she sings is what you get in real life. She is in the spirit and I have never felt that way about anyone other than my wife (Myongja Kim). Hearing a concert in person is unreal - I think it must be the same in heaven when one hears the choir. She looks you square in the eyes when she speaks with you in a soft warm tone, she is tough but she is vulnerable, she is educated and learned French in France studying there. She still takes meds and has some days without energy, however, she always rises to the occasion. She is learning to brake lose a bit and is, I think, naturally shy. The exception to the shyness is in Church where she is always strong, always active, and totally involved. Truly, God has blessed us with her and we are not the same for it. To hear her in person is not like hearing her online, her heart and soul touch you as the sound reaches our into all corners of you - you will never forget!

If I’m not mistaken, SO HYANG was diagnosed with cancer…after surviving the ordeal she saw her second chance at life as a gift from God and dedicated her voice/life to brining joy to others…she refuses a lot of money and big offers on record deals because of her promise to God…she didn’t want to profit from the gift. Powerful stuff…and I believe the reason why you feel so much from her singing.
