As a survivor who played after the update I’ve no joke only played up against Fools gold hunters 😭😭. I need the diversity of hunters again. Also it took me so many tries to complete the last level on the event. The bot gets soooo scary. Ps( I was invited to a match by a friend who sometimes gets previews or is given access to events early)

It wasn’t that different before. Before it was either only bloody queen, naiad, night watch, the occasional sculptor, and rarely a ripper and even more rarely another hunter.

My trick in the apprehension mode is to bring both psychologist and doc.never let these 2 get chased. Let them decode the unstable ciphers. Also harassers are kinda worthless so cipher rushing is better. Its also nice to bring Snooze (+ time chaired) and 2 ppl bring tide. The rest is to internet and luck🤣

the reason why prisoner wasn't downed at 24:58 is because you can withstand 3 hits as a survivor in duo hunters- a terrorshock counts as 2 hits in duo hunters!

God I had flashbacks to the Nightmare bot version. He had blink, he knew when to camp vs when not to, there were POISONOUS CLOUDS THAT WOULD HARM YOU LIKE NAIADS WATER LITERALLY EVERYWHERE. The only way 99% of players cleared was to have someone play as the sacrifice and lure the bot into a glitched spot, and then keep them there until the others escaped and then die. It was (drumroll) a nightmare. XD

3:10 that is actually similar to how you could trick the highest difficulty nightmare back in the day. there was a spot where if you got hit there, he would forever try to hit you again standing in place, but the hit wouldnt register. so one had to sacrifice themselves and the rest got the win hahaha- (thats how i cleared it back in the day too) im so glad this is back tho bc i LOVED the bot matches back then for farming points (braindead farming W) and doing deductions hahaha- (idk if they changed it to not reward things this time around tho)

I remember the hardest mode on ToR, kiting with candy girl mech was never so scary. The randoms i were with were going crazy over it

So far I’ve only won one match while going against fools gold. Good part about him being released is shorter wait times for survivor, bad part is keep getting fools gold XD. I was so thankful when i got into a match with friendly geisha.

The duo hunter mode for hunter only "fast" when you team up with a friend, it will basically half or even more compare to when you have to wait as solo queue.

I beat difficulty 3 with a team of 2 explorers + 1 doctor + 1 embalmer. The explorers focused on decoding while doc took chase and damage and then used the coffin on doc to save and traded aesop so he could get chaired -> saved and get another coffin and then used it for one of the explorers and put it at the exit gate for a 4 man escape

I remembered I played against fools gold in the Pain difficulty and pallet stun him over and over again feeling like I'm so pro but then when I tired to rescue he gave me a terrorshock... 😞

i remember in the time of reunion hardest difficulty mode it was sooo crazy hard but there was a cheese where if you play dancer, the ai would prioritize breaking her boxes over chasing people and there was this one specific tiny corner area where dancer could place a box but nightmare couldn’t reach it but the ai didn’t know that so he would get stuck trying to walk into a corner the whole game LOL, pretty cheap but it was literally the only way me and my friends were able to clear the mode to try and get the special title achievement thing LMAO, i wonder if it would still work with fools gold?? it was super handy because you could still complete deduction quests in that game mode too so we all played random characters that we had unfinished quests for and just tried to grind and complete all the quests for a ton of extra clues it was so fun

8:24 he doesn’t, its when the pickaxes hits unstable ground it does chip dmg on impact and chip dmg coming back. Max presence is basically doing the same thing, but creating unstable ground on impact. Basically doing the same thing but you don’t have to have unstable ground set up.

You might get destroyed hard if survivors know how to counter him… From looking at his gameplay and what others think about him, he can get counters quite easily, and if survivors know how to kite really well while doing that you might just… Die.

Tried fool's gold via trial and I gotta say, he really isn't that strong. Compared to naiad, opera singer etc, if you continue circle around the wall without being near the walls, you don't get hits at all😂 Or once he throws his axe, you change a new location to kite. By the time he chairs you, 3 cipher popped.
