@@yeppumm1192 ratchet 1 definitly needs rewind for the last planet and final boss. its so shitty that you can run out of bolts and dont have enough to pay for ammunition so you have to do the brutal planet all over again if you turn off the console

Dude, no one talks about Daxter enough. I got my PSP my junior year of High School. Daxter was the 2nd PSP game I got after Liberty City Stories. I loved the game and have played it a few times since. The crazy thing is today I went to buy it on the shop and didn't know I would get it free since I rebought it digital years ago. Made my day. Also kind of funny, I never played another Jak game other than Daxter. Still great to see some love for this fun Platfomer.

did you got the digital version free for ps5 or did you changed your account over the years? and yes jak is a great series. i love jak 2 because its so brutally hard and has the best story and atmosphere. jak 3 was like jak 2.5 with mad max and jak 1 was lake banjo kazooie

Hey Matty, I wanted to drop a note to say I really appreciate your work on both your main channel as well as Retro Rebound. I will say I prefer this channel because the content is so much fun to listen to, even if it’s games I’m not remotely interested in. You do a great job in both presentation and how you weave in commentary. I love being able to either relive some of these games vicariously, or seeing what games mattered most to you. I’m 31 now and it’s easy to lose “the joy.” Thanks for doing this series and look forward to what you do in the future.

GhostHunter was done by the same people who did MediEvil. It was published by Sony in Europe but didn't do so well over there. The US ps2 version is actually a more updated version of the game with bug fixes. Namco published the game for the US. It IS suppose to be corny, heck they even got Richard Harris (Dumbledore) playing the bad guy.

Lego Star Wars 2, Lego Indiana Jones 1 and Lego Batman 1 are the only PSP Lego games that match their original console versions.

These games are digital backwards compatible. If you bought daxter digitally on psp 15 years ago you get the ps4 and ps5 version for free This works for most ps1 and psp titles. I even got resident evil 1 ps1 for free because I bought it on ps3 back then. I just wish they would release re2 and 3 and both Dino crisis soon

Im playing through Ghosthunter right now and it’s alright if you can look past the clunkyness. But this game came out like 2 years before re4 and pretty much all third person horror games play bad after re4

I remember getting the silver psp back in my sophomore year of high school and Daxter wad the game that came with it. Now I can relive the game again, on my ps portal and get a sweet, sweet platinum trophy to add to my collection!

I hope they add Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles a psp remake of Castlevania Rondo of Blood. Also, Castlevania Lament of Innocence as well as Curse of Darkness. Then hopefully Castlevania Chronicles on PSX

@kadosho02 Dracula x was a reimagining for snes, I'm on about the original Rondo of blood which is better than Dracula X. Its one on the requiem collection which is playstation exclusive with symphony of the night. Its personally my favourite castlevania.

What I like about the PSP games on PS4/PS5, is that you can change the controls, which is helpful for games like Ape Escape On The Loose.

Playing older tiltes on Xbox work the same way, it's just emulated ports of xbox and 360 games. That's why you can't play all of them, only about 600 titles work on Xbox from the previous consoles. Only difference is that Xbox let's you use the disc to then gain access to the emulated ports if available.

It’s actually better to move the camera with the LR buttons because you don’t have to take your thumb off of the face buttons. I do switch L and R to the triggers though

Love LSW. So glad they brought back this classic. PSP was the best version of LSW 2 as well (has everything the other versions have + challenges + 3 levels from LSW 1)

I never played Daxter even way back when I had a PSP the first time, this port of it's the first I ever played it, and it was a really fun game, kinda sad they never ported it to PS2 like The Lost Frontier.

Every PS Classic in these new emulators will be 1440p. The only games which are not for some reason are Sly Racoon and Tomb Raider Legends. I have no idea why. I own every single PS Classic. I bought them all outright. US unfortunately can't buy Resident Evil 1. But in the UK you can buy it. The US store has Eternal Ring a game by From Software. It's not on the UK store and is from the old PS2 Classics releases. Ubisoft published it in the UK that's why I don't think it's on the UK PS Store.

LEGO STARWARS the original!! Is it the same edition they had on GameCube? We had a poor man’s PlayStation back in the day and LEGO Star Wars was the only game I had. 89/99 gold blocks from my memory 😢for months my two brothers and I played it without a Memory Card 😅

They are uprendered to 1440p. So they look great! The only games not uprendered are Sly Racoon and Tomb Raider Legends and I have idea why. Clone Wars and Ghost Hunter are 1440p.

Also Sony Cambridge made it not Namco. Sony published it in the UK but it flopped. So Namco picked it up for the US release. Sony Cambridge made the Medieval games and Primal.

I wish PSN give users the ps3 version of Tekken 6 instead of the one for PSP that has no split screen or online multiplayer. And not to mention most of the ps3 library on ps4 and ps5 is streaming only when 10%-25% of the titles can be purchase individually.

It’s because the PS4/5 cannot run PS5 games natively and it’s extremely difficult to emulate PS3, so offering the PSP versions which are a lot easier to emulate makes way more sense.

The ports covered in this video are purchasable separately, it’s only streamed titles which are exclusive to PS+ premium.

So excited for Daxter. I wanted to play it on PSP but it hurt my eyes. I than tried it on Vita and same issue due to the small screen. But now I can enjoy it on a big screen! The other 3 game series I wish to come to this is Yakuza 1 & 2, Fatal Frame 1, 2,3 and Midnight Club 2 & 3.
