I thought it was the opposite, skill could only get you so far when you’re surrounded by 7 enemies. I could run around with any weapon in TO and just kill enemies that are already in a disadvantageous fight and get good K/D but in a duel I can never get a good K/D against enemies that are objectively better than me.

@@fatwalrus9599 TOs and duels are different. But generally weapon matters in both teamfights and duels at same level. For TO ur not gonna do good with a rapier in a comp lobby where people knows what they are doing. While using a weapon like executioners axe, messer or good tea fighting weapons is important as these weapons work well in group fights. You are not going to pick mosquitos that flies off in a high skilled lobby comparing to pubs. Duels there are just objectively bad weapons though skill does matter more in duels. I can use let’s say the meta duel weapon heavy mace but I will still get my butt wanked by a player of tremendous skill wielding a knife.

Fighting a Highland Sword is a jab class dream. Just run footman/light shield and jab every time they load up a heavy gamble. They will hate you and probably change to greatsword. 😂

@@Swagmar It most definitely is the best imo. it's counter window is crazy, the damage is disgusting, and it's unmatched in 1vX's. and there is absolutely nothing better than sending someone into the stratosphere with the sprint attack lmao

@Swagmar don't throw it. Swinging only. It behaves pretty much exactly like the knife but I think cos it's blunt it's more effective against knights.

yeah fr I was just not paying attention going for as many kills tbh I could of played it more slow but I was on the run from archers and 200 takedowns

just click block really fast and use the same attack you did or another for counter feints but just swing and ur next attach needs to be fast
