I enjoyed the 2013 game, but I really don't feel like trying the sequels. A game they should make instead imo is a reboot/remake for Legacy of Kain. Crystal Dynamics sure knew how to create interesting stories back then.

I found myself more playing this one to finish it rather than enjoying *the jouuuurney*. It's very polished and really well streamlined, but I'm not sure it's very *interesting*. It's like an American summer blockbuster movie: looks really great, is good fun, tops the previous year's offering and has the kind of refinement you wish you could see on a title that took more risks. It's not one of those special games that I find myself stopping in their last third because I don't want their little worlds to be closed and lifeless when the credits roll. The Baba Yaga DLC was at least kind of interesting though- possibly because it subverted a few expectations that playing hours of the main game wears into you.

I recommend you try the pc version, the combat and parkour actually feels great on pc and the graphics are eye watering too. Playing on the hardest difficulty on tomb raider really is rewarding, I liked this one wayyyyy better than the first. The only problem I had with Rise was the kinda annoying story, and the way her character still is pretty annoying and acts nothing like Laura Croft should act. Her character is wimpy as hell, yet when the guns come out she's a serial killer; its kinda stupid. Her character worked better in early games when she was tall, intimidating, confident and stoic. She looked like she might hurt someone before now, she's super soft outside of combat. But gameplay wise the new games are damn near perfect in my experience

Tomb Raider > Uncharted

I like Tomb Raider better than Uncharted. Uncharted is way too cinematic. Tomb Raider is more gamey

_(sigh)_ Sqaure Enix done fucked up. On PC, Square Enix recently jacked up their regional pricing to high heavens for no reason. For $60 * Rise of TR : *Rs. 999* * Shadow of TR : *Rs. 3,499* That's right, for same $ value, SoTR is *250% MORE EXPENSIVE* than RoTR. Why does SE treats it's non-US/Europe customers like this?!

Man, I forgotten about this game years ago, not that I didn't have fun with this game. I really did. It didn't really grip me in as I thought it did. BTW, beware possessed cans!

At first I was loving this game, no joke, after the first one (that I really liked) I was expectant and ready for a great adventure. Well, after a few hours I sadly ended hating most of the game, especially when I realized how limited and buggy the gameplay really is. I'm still exited for the third one, but I'll probably never touch this game ever again. I 100% finished the game, on hard difficulty, on PS4, I actually wanted to get the Platinum, but I ended so annoyed by the game there's no way I'll waste time on that.
