About the Wembley scene, remember that it is in the UK. Meaning these were English fans singing a song in Korean! Imagine how you'd feel if a whole stadium sang your song back to you in your own native language.♥️

I was actually on Twitter when army matched BTS's 1M donation. It all started with one tweet "imaging if we matched BTS's donation, how crazy would that be ?" And everyone was like, you know what, it might not work but we can try, plus we are already used to donating to charities in our name and already have an account dedicated for that called Oneinanarmy. With them we have donated over 500+ projects to charities for different causes, countries and realms, in just 2 years. I wonder what the person who tweeted this ironically must feel right now

35:09 Jungkook actually joined when he was 13 years old (before turning 14 in September of 2011), so he was even younger. Also, members not only went to his high school entrance and graduation ceremonies, they also went to his middle school graduation before that. He was young! When BTS officially debuted (June 13, 2013), he was 15 years old. The reason I bring this up is just for future reference regarding age. Whenever the members (or anyone from Korea) mention their age, it’s the Korean age. So when you’re born in Korea, you’re automatically considered 1 years old, but also when the new year begins in January 1st, you’re already considered 2 years old (even though your birthday hasn’t come yet). For example, V was born December 30th, he’s 1 yrs old…then two days later in January 1st, he’s 2 years old (even though he was technically 2 days old lol). So in your head, depending when their birthday is, just minus 1-2 years from the age they say in interviews and other content. So when JK says 15, it’s really 13. With the exception of english interviews (like in the U.S.), the guys usually switch it to saying their global/international age knowing we don’t go by Korean age. Age when joined & age when they debuted (which could be before their birthday). Members who joined after their birthday are Suga and J-Hope since their birthdays fall near the beginning of the year, but everyone else joined before their birthday (if I recall info correctly). RM - 15 (2010), debuted at 18 (9/12/94) Jin - 18 (2011), debuted at 20 (12/4/92) Suga - 17 (2010), debuted at 20 (3/9/93) J-Hope - 16 (2010), debuted at 19 (2/18/94) Jimin - 16 (2012), debuted at 17 (10/13/95) V - 15 (2011), debuted at 17 (12/30/95) Jungkook - 13 (2011), debuted at 15 (9/1/97)

Taylor Nakamoto, who created this video, is also working with her boss Jeff at Orig Entertainment on a docu that explores and celebrates the ways that BTS has impacted the lives of their fans. Trust me, the boys are magic! As a 63 year old ARMY, I am proud to say I have a little scene in the docu and am so excited to see what Orig has done with it. BTS have helped many fans get through hard times in their lives. Their lyrics are deep and inspirational, their performances are inspiring, their personalities and chemistry are joyous. This! I think one of the things that make their music resonate with such sincerity and genuineness is bc its so personal with them. They sing abt things they believe in and think abt, and you can even see it reflected in what they talk abt during their vlives and such. It's also part of why following their journey is so much fun too. Bc you can easily navigate their thought processes and growth with their music.

I also wanna share something that I now have learned through BTS being artists which are: 1. Its cool for an artist to be humble and not flexing all the time. 2. Its cool for an artist to be sooo grateful of their fans. 3. It's also cool and manly for men to be caring with each other rather than being a toxic masculine. 4. It's cool to not use substances and have a unhealthy life style but instead take care of themselves. 5. It's cool for a rapper especially to do songs about self-love, growth and mental health and less on sex, drugs and money. These might be simple but it's often take for granted. This is what makes them different. They influence us into good people. They are the real good quality music influencer.

Let me also add what I learned through being an ARMY: *My enthusiasm for the things I like deserve just as much space in the world as men's enthusiasm for the things they like. I am not a crazy fangirl for behaving the same way as men do watching sports.* RM and Suga, most especially, have commented and try their best to erase that stereotype of "crazy fangirls" and to them I will forever be grateful.

What you said about Queen hits even harder knowing that was at wembley stadium too! BTS were so honored and excited to have concerts there in 2019 knowing how iconic the stadium (and especially the Freddie Mercury story) was. During the concert Jimin actually said “when I told my friends we were performing here, they asked if I want to say “Aaaayyyoooo” like freddie mercury, but I think instead I want to shout “AAARRRMMYYYYY”! It’s a really adorable short clip if you can find it. Glad you took so much from this video! Welcome and have fun with this journey! From what you’ve said, I have a feeling many of their songs and lyrics will resonate with you.

BTS became big first *outside* of Korea. The Korean music industry pretty much looked down upon them and expected them to disband quickly, like many other groups out of the big 3, or the just the more known companies. The kpop industry is a battlefield and not many survive for even a year so I can kinda understand why that was expected from them. But they ignored the fact that BTS didn't need the power of their company in the world of social media. Since the Korean entertainment companies don't really affect on people outside of Korea, it was easier for us to give them a chance and ignore the company powers. I became Army in May 2014 and even though they were not even a year old group then, there were so much content already. There were also so many songs and the fact that I liked all of the songs was amazing. Like usually I find 1-3 great songs in an album but when I listened to BTS albums at that time, I felt like they put the same effort in every song. Like often kpop groups put most of the effort in the title song and the rest just feel like fill-ups. I always believed that BTS had the potential to become big and win grand prices in Korean music awards, but I didn't even realize there's an even bigger world for them outside of that.

for me, i realized even more how caring towards the fans they are (even though i already knew it) when they announced their group music hiatus a couple of months ago - they said they were originally going to do it 2 years ago. meaning, they delayed their hiatus for 2 years, despite being burnt out to bits, just to help their fans stay calm in these crazy times with their music and content. they are such good people and loving to fans that i can't even explain it to you guys. it's so rare in this world of crazy celebrities today. and this group music hiatus means a focus on solo music, but still with group content like their shows getting released. they always do the most for us.

the clip where they were dancing, singing on the street they were still rookies in their home town Korea and around the world. i think it was 2014 or 2015 they went to America [LA] for a show *American Hustle Life* to learn the true ways of hip hop. they had to do a concert after learning and at that time America did not know who BTS were so they had to ask on the street for people to come to their free concert, and about 200 people showed up. if like you guys want to know their hardships and how they came up... honestly there are many many many videos but I think THE RISE OF BANGTAN is better and its a series so like its telling their story from when they were trainees to today. I think its good so surely check that out. Thank you, hope to see more of bts from you guys. BORAHAE

American Hustle Life was around end of June/beginning of July of 2014. They already had a lot of fans at the airport. Them giving out free concert tickets was their last MISSIOn for the reality show from Mnet - meaning it ws done for a narrative Mnet thaught people want to see. Aneesa of TROB said the line was cut a few people before her. So it is a little staged. And hardships? Xceleste has a good video (2; take the newer version for it) of their hardships. Hinting at it is something like the fun "Karma is an Army"-video-series. It was not easy. 💜

BTS is a powerhouse cast of talentend members. As what Chris Martin (Coldplay) said that all members has their own unique style, they do their own thing and when they work as a team they come up amazing. When they were living in one house RM said that he is the leader but in their house, it's Jin who rules the house. When members would go out they would tell Jin where they are going and just like an older brother he would give them allowances and during birthdays. Like when Suga celebrated his birthday 2 yrs ago he paid for their dinner treating all members and their staff. During their trainee days he would randomly treat members for lunch or dinners paying with a credit card his mom gave him when he was away for training. I believe they have a strong bond of brotherhood and friendship. They genuinely care for each other. Like when JK was still studying Jin would prepare for his school meals and would drove him to school while Suga & Jhope would pick JK from school. Both Suga & Jin would cook for all the members. They have learn to love and embrace each others flaws. I think it helps that they are not of the same age that's why they understand each other well. And I love how members would do their own part in doing household chores. They have lived foe over 10 yrs including trainee days and the boys have lived harmoniously and they misses each other when one is away. I can see they are real and sincere to each other.

Even the owner of the restaurant they frequented during their pre-debut days has praised them for their manners and work ethic, saying she had always believed they would make it big. People in the music industry have also mentioned how easy it is to work with them, from producers (e.g. delivering perfect vocals) to technicians (e.g. delivering well-organized tracks for mixing) to co-songwriters (e.g. providing detailed and specific briefs).

When they were first started as a group they were not often invited to tv shows and if it happems very little exposure and sometimes cut from broadcast because they came from a small agency. That is why their agency created their own variety shows from Rookie King to Run BTS, to Bon Voyage and In The Soop which are available in Vlive & Weverse and some in YT. They promoted themselves and communicate with their fans through YT. BTS when they go live on Vlive they have millions of fans watching them on the vlive. When J-hope almost wanted to give up BTS JK cried so hard that he slept next to Jhope that night hugging him aftraid that when he wakes up J-ope will be gone. When JK almost wanted to quit because he misses his mom...Jin's love made him stay.

Really enjoyed this. I’ve been Army since 2017 when my daughter introduced me to them. We were not getting along And BTS brought us together. They gave me my daughter back to me. You will hear many stories like this. People getting through cancer or domestic abuse or the loss of a loved one. They are magical in every way. You might check out their Grammy performance of Butter. One of my favorites

Great open minded and open hearted reaction. I can tell straight away that you are going to get hooked. I have been ARMY for years now and after getting into BTS I honestly feel a bit short-changed by other artists. For me it is what is behind the music. The fact that good, humble, inspiring, talented, selfless people are doing all this ALWAYS with their fans in mind is unique. You may want to react to their BTS Room Live, where they sing a short medley of tracks from 2013 to 2020. Buckle up for the best ride ever!💜💜💜

4:30 That was during their pre-debut days, when they went to LA to film a series of BTS American Hustle Life (Eight full episodes). It was their finale episode and they was part of an assignment when they had to stand on the sideway to promote and gather a crowd for their mini concert at the end of the episode where they performed NO MORE DREAM and BULLETPROOF as well as a few songs that they learned and worked with western artists.

Thank you for sharing your BTS journey with us.... Not sure if you are aware of the difference between Korean Age and International Age... Koreans count age differently to us.... This video uses Korean ages, you will need to adjust. (eg- JungKook was 13 when he joined BighHit and 15 when they debut)..... Korean Age vs International Age - difference is 1-2 years depending on if their birthday has been.... Rule of thumb - if it's before their birthday - subtract 2 years to get international age. if it's after their birthday - subtract 1 year to get their international age. When you are born you are considered 1 year old. Then on 01 Jan every year you add another year to your age, no matter what your birthdate is. .... EG: TaeHyung (V) born 30 Dec 1995 ...... current International Age 26 (Korean Age 28). ... 2 years difference So Tae born 30 Dec 95 is 1 year old, then on 01 Jan 96 he is 1 more year older (so they would say he is 2 years old, when we would say he is 2 days old.) So he was considered 28 in Korea since 01 January, we would say he is 26 turning 27 in Dec. EG: Hoseok (JHope) born 18 Feb 1994...... current International Age 28 (Korean Age 29)... .currently 1 years difference He turned 28 on 18 Feb - but will still be considered 29 in Korea (the difference is only 1 year - until Jan 1 - then back to 2 years difference) It's a different way of looking at age, from new years day - JHope is living his 29th year (since conception) - instead of - he turned 28 (since birth).... EG: Jeongguk (JK) born 01 Sept 1997...... current International Age 24 (Korean Age 26)... .2 years difference He was considered 26 in Korea since January, even though we would say he's 24 turning 25 in Sept. So JK started with BigHit in 2011 at 13, but he would say 15 in korean age. At BTS debut on 13 Jun 13 JK was 15 in international age (17 in korean age) International Age at Debut on 13June13 (Year and international age became trainee) Jin - 20 yo (2011 - 18yo) Suga - 19 yo (2011 - 17yo) JHope - 19 yo (2011 - 17yo) RM - 18 yo (2010 - 15yo) Jimin - 17 yo (2012 - 16yo) V - 17 yo (2011 - 15yo) JK - 15 yo (2011 - 13yo) In most series they are giving Korean ages so you will need to adjust. Hope that makes sense!!💜💜

BTS is really something, I cannot describe how much each of them means to me. They are just a precious gems who lighten up my world. Their goals since the beginning have always about creating a good, honest, genuine music and they have many time too called out big labels/industry against payola, chart manipulation etc. A political critics once said that many publications and big label tend to downplay BTS success because BTS manage to exceed despite not playing/paying along the industry expectations. I would success you to watched their documentary/movies such as Break The Silence Burn The Stage Bring the Soup Love Yourself BTS: Global Takeover

Good comment on the ballads, I would add that they also allow us to recognize a good performer, since not every artist manages to convey the feeling of a song. BTS pulls it off, and not just in ballads.) The first members are rappers since initially it was going to be a hip hop group, when they changed to an idol group the other rappers left, that's where the search for vocalists began. They debuted as a hip hop idol group.

55:55 I love how RM categorized the percentage of their Success, instead of saying cliche things like "Oh I'll give 100% to our Fans" He mentioned Everyone who is behind their Sucess, n thts a Great Leader right there. BTS don't fake it, like many other Artists do. n Even tho BTS is the one who made Army and their small company this big by their Hardwork, Amazing Music n Lyricism, he still gave themselves a small portion of their Success when they r the one who deserves the most 💜💜

Every country have their culture what they make special.) However I love your reactions really and hope for more😊after BTS I hope you can react to TXT too👍
