This park is so cool, free parking, free soft drinks/water all day everywhere; and at the water park they have free sunscreen for everyone too. It has also been called one of the cleanest parks and the staff is so cool. So glad people can see something good in Indiana.

Holiday World is one of my top bucket list US parks - Voyage looks amazing

Out of my 320+ credits, Voyage sits at my #1. Super happy to see you enjoyed my favorite coaster! You really, really, really need to come back during Holiwood Nights. Late at night, you can't see anything, they disable the midcourse trims, and while this ride normally clocks at 96 seconds from the top of the hill, we were getting runs at 83 seconds and shit, as announced by the best ride-op of all time. On PTC trains. It was ABSURD. Bumped it from my #3 to #1, as it did for half of the people there. 25 rides with only other enuthusiasts. Total masterpiece. You know what boost mode does to Tornado at Bakken? Yep, that. The exponential speed gain from not being slowed down at the top of the hill means it is CAREENING into the brakes at the end, even mildly damaging the track. Best coaster experience on earth. I hope that convinced you to come, because you have the best coaster vlogs on KZfaq by far, and I wouldn't mind having a beer with you!

My home park! I've ridden all 3 wooden coasters dozens of times. And everyone was thrilled when they added Thunderbird because we had been wanting a steel coaster forever.

I hope you get a chance to visit Splashin' Safari. Holiday World is not in my top ten favorite parks but I do think it is the overall best value park. The coasters are great, the atmosphere is pretty good, the supporting rides are fun, but they also have free parking, free sun screen, the water park is phenomenal and it's free and you can't beat the free drinks.

I've been riding coasters since 1987 as a hobbyist. I remember my first ride in the Beast, Lakeside Cyclone and Knoebels Phoenix.. discovering and understanding what riding coasters was all about. So many people ride coasters for numbers, KZfaq hits or self aggrandisement. I rode Raven, Legend and the Voyage the month if not week they opened.. It was a sheer joy to see you understand and appreciate what being a roller coaster enthusiast is about. Hopefully you never lose that spirit and in ten or more years you'll appreciate this comment more than you know. That tear in your eye.. it's what it's all about all else will pass.

My #1 coaster. There are rollercoasters that are more rideable and some that are more "fun". However, there is not another rollercoaster on the planet like the Voyage.

I've never visited Holiday World yet, but I'm still pretty sure that it has the best wooden coaster collection of any park in the world. The Voyage is the longest wooden coaster with one lift hill and has more airtime than any coaster in the world other than Steel Vengeance. The only wooden coaster longer with one lift hill was Son of Beast which is defunct and sucked anyway with the possible exception of the 1st drop in the back car and the vertical loop anywhere in the train. The duration of the Voyage is usually about 100 seconds from the moment the train starts accelerating down its 154' drop until the EBR, making it one of the most efficient coaters due to its use of the unique terrain it's built upon. It's my top three bucket list coaters I've not yet ridden in at least in North America if not the world, the other two being Fury 325 and Velocicoaster. Thanks for posting, loved the video!

Its been very rainy this year too-almost every day

Was here for the first time this year, and I really enjoyed holiday world! I was there on Monday, July 25th In my opinion, the pros: •Great lineup of woodies and a good wing coaster •I LOVE the oases and how you can grab cups of water whenever you want •Voyage is freaking incredible. Even though the park is only open until 8pm, the park is close to the eastern time zone. As a result, it was pretty dark on my last ride. Not pitch black, but enough so that it was awesome •I thought the themed areas were pretty cool •Legend is extremely underrated. It really surprised me how intense that ride is and the pacing is insane too Cons: •The lines were pretty brutal. On thunderbird, they were just letting random people through the exit. At one point there was a large rider who wasn't able to ride after a REALLY long period of time (that's the fault of overweight Americans and not the park though). There were also two handicapped people which slowed down the operations, again, not the parks fault though. •since I had only one day, I at least wanted to try out a little bit of the water park. My brother and dad waited an hour for cheetah chase (not worth the wait at all btw) just to be told that we were slightly over the weight limit. It was very frustrating to see that my dad wasn't able to ride after waiting an entire hour. I don't understand why they don't have a weight scale BEFORE the queue line so people can see if they are able to ride without wasting an hour in line just to be told that they don't meet weight requirements. Unfortunately that's all we did in the water park. I would've loved to experience the other water coasters, but voyage was my highest priority. •The food items were very disappointing. We ate at a decent restaurant in splashin safari, but the second meal was unacceptable. I got a tiny buffalo chicken sandwich that costed 14 dollars and looked like it came out of a school cafeteria. It tasted good at least, but for $14 is just insane. •Not necessarily a con, but I personally thought raven was overhyped. I sat in the back row, and the airtime on the fifth drop wasn't even ejector. Some moments on legend gave more powerful airtime •I'm not a fan of how you have to walk 500 miles (just to be the man) to get to thunderbird •I'm also not a fan of how the park goes down in elevation as you go through it. I would rather walk downhill than uphill leaving the park. If anyone knows why they were just letting people through the exit right onto thunderbird, please let me know. The guests most definitely didn't have a handicap, so I'm really confused. Is there some sort of fast pass I'm not aware of?

Holiday World is easily a top 10 park in the US for me. All 4 major coasters are outstanding. Your experience with Voyage was similar to mine with El Toro.

There's a chance I'll be going there for the first time this summer. If so, i am very excited as I've been wanting to go there for over a decade by now. I just wish they had a replacement for Pilgrims Plunge by now because that's what I've been mostly waiting for before going. A new Easter section would be perfect for that.

i've seen a ride get closed for rain once in 11 years of going here, it was voyage. Everything else stayed open, and the ride reopened later. Got our tickets refunded and went another time. Great park.

Got out here this summer on my road to 100, and all 4 coasters here currently sit in my top 20, with Voyage as my #1. Can't wait to return - hoping to visit during Holiwood Nights and finally get to Kings Island that same weekend.

I really want to go back to Holiday World. Not just for the rides on Voyage, but I only rode Raven one time in the front row. It was a lot of fun, but I found it to be very over-hyped. I think if I could get a few back row rides on it, my opinion would change quite a bit. Voyage is my number one overall coaster. I haven't ridden a lot of the best rides in North America yet, but I think it could be number one on this half of the planet.

Rain tip: glasses. I use a pair of my regular 1.25x's that are tight, but they also sell the so-called 1.0's .

Coasters in the rain are bad, but the worst I had was The Big One in a hailstorm that happened really quickly. Not the most fun I’ve ever had. And if BPB had to close the rides for rain nothing would ever open. Oh yeah, it was in July.

I'm seriously so happy everyone seems to love my home park. I grew up going to a small-town park that blew up and is now famous and everyone praises it. It's just makes me so proud 👏 🥲 I remember when they broke ground on the Voyage and it really felt like things were changing. Glad you loved it!

I have ridden Voyage and I absolutely love it! It’s my number 4 coaster with El Toro at number 3, Steel Vengeance at number 2, and Iron Gwazi at number 1. Voyage is great and I love the long layout and incredible airtime.The way it goes through the woods like it does just adds even more to the already great ride experience. Where do you rank Voyage?

Voyage is my favorite coaster period. And Ive actually traveled a fair bit to have a lot to choose from! I do however need El Toro to compare it to the other contested #1 woodie. If Great Adventure can figure that thing out

I wonder if this park is worth a 12-hour drive one way? Also, I love how they run the rides in the rain, I wish more parks would do that unless there is a safety issue with overrunning the brakes. That can be solved though by just running one train during rain. I wish more parks would run in the rain, people need to take responsibility for themselves, if they don't want to get hit by little bullets of rain during the ride, don't ride during the rain.

I actually prefer Legend to voyage. I think because of my low expectations for it and such high expectations for voyage. But I thought all 4 were great.
