Just gotta say this is my favorite commander show out of the lot, I love that you all have a standing cast and you can get to know everyone’s play style and the production and editing has gotten better with every episode! Excited to see it on a dedicated channel as well!

CGB called Urabrask, Heretic Praetor Urabrask the Hidden and gave the abilities text for Heretic Praetor. Overlay had The Hidden. I was waiting for everyone to figure out they were using the wrong rules for the card until I saw the art for the card on the table which was Heretic Praetor and not The Hidden. Was a Shahrazad sub-game of figure out which Urabrask is in play and which abilities should be used. Not even mad, I interacted way more than usual. Very fun.

Meet both Blake and cgb at command fest orlando, was amazed by how approachable they both were, signed way more things than they needed too, and humored a mono red mage with a quick game and a song upon my demise. I hate to be that guy but a couple things: 1. Urbrask only replaces your first draw each turn, Cultivator Colossus would still work. 2. The cost reduction from Shay's commander would not apply to Multikicker since it's an additional cost and the commander reduces casting cost

First thought, I find it funny when ever some one else is the Video "Host" if CGB is in the shot of the intro, you can see him some times lip syncing with the intro. Also awesome was Kenny being the win con! CGB using a king, like a king, to get the win!

I've been playing mimeoplasm ooze tribal for a while now and it rules. I'm super disappointed it didn't work out. Try it again sometime please! Also once I fell asleep during this stream and now I put it on before bed. This is the ultimate asmr and I appreciate you guys. Annnnnnd Peed From The Real is obviously crazy op, good game buds! Those fortnite lands are sweet!

My recommandation for Shae's deck : Delayed Blast Fireball ! It will fit perfectly in this "play from exile" theme. Other than that, the deck seems very fun to play with, congrats.

Wondering if I am misunderstanding Liara, since she says "cast" as opposed to "play" which i thought made her different than prosper who lets you play lands from exile, whereas a cast trigger i would think, would auto exile lands as they are never cast?

mimeoplasm sounds like a great and fun commander - you can include mill but also use mill to make an awesome partly radomized commander creature. Reeallly cool choice by Ben - did not know that beast before and Sheas commander also was unkown to me before and seems really cool! (wrote this comment before watching)

My first rank would be trying some cards / giving cards one last chance that are going to rotate. Maybe a week long in diamond trying out some cool older cards. One that comes to mind is harness infinity. Then after the “jank” week you could give a farewell to the OP cards that are leaving like goldspan dragon. Last year we had standard 2022 so there was no closure really. We didn’t get that last “yorion” moment. Just an idea!!

Genuine question regarding Fierce Guardianship at 34:08 : The new targets of Deflecting are only announced once it resolves, aren’t they? And at that point it can’t be countered anymore. So technically you would have to counter Deflecting Swat without knowing the new target, right?

Good point! This is casual EDH, first and foremost. Secondly, the Swat targeted the Putrefy which was targeting the Greaves and redirected the Putrefy to the [I forget]. Fierce then countered the Swat. So, had the Fierce been cast in a cEDH match, it would’ve been cast prior to the redirect. The outcome is the same: the Swat is countered. But, your point is valid, especially if the Fierce had been countered or redirected (at which point, in a casual game, the stack would rewind a few steps)

Just a note - you can't play lands off the Liara trigger. You can only CAST spells from among the exiled.

GarthGoBlue really did have a large impact on the game. Kenny got his revenge and killed everyone with infinite mana. I always felt that Shivan Dragon was the joke card that Garth could make, but apparently I was wrong. Dragon did save some damages from happening. The damage that it did to other players didn't seem to matter though. The Brainstorm mode probably did the most work since it let you draw 14 cards. It was sad that the hint of "attack the planeswalker" didn't get picked up on, but GarthGoBlue was the threat.
