Oh my goodness! You guys! You’re crushing it with this series of vlogs. From the mundane (fuel cost update for a single commenter!) packing up the tent, making PB&J sandwiches and cooking sausages on the tailgate to the sublime - the drone footage, the sunset, the cold swim and then the incredible gorge hike/swim. And then there’s all the funny stuff - “big things” accent practice, trash talking Tia’s driving skills! You are just fantastic to watch!! Keep enjoying yourselves and thankyou so much for the attention to detail that you put into each and every video. Love your work!! ❤❤❤

When another vehicle is approaching at high speed in the opposite direction on a dirt road, slow down and get as far left as possible. It can throw up stones and your speed in the opposite direction means your windscreen will hit the stones at high speed. Big road-rains on dirt roads are the worst.

What I find amazing about Karijini is how old the water is. When the water was rain, dinosaurs were roaming the earth. It took about 250 million years for the water to slowly percolate through the rocks into the surface pools. Karijini is indeed an amazing, sacred place.

We lived in the Pilbara for 3 years in the late 70s and never went there either - travelling around in the north west in those days was a different experience and a little bit more challenging than it is today. We went back there last year on our lap around the country and were blown away by how touristy everything in the Pilbara and the Kimberleys has become its getting just as crowded as the east coast.

🤣🤣 Cheveyo's face when Tia was so excited about the Big Prawn! The water in those gorges probably only gets the sun for a short time each day, so it stays cold. A lot of people here buy 4WDs specifically to do a big trip exploring the Outback, so you are probably running into some of them. The ensuite camp sites make sense in a way. A lot of people's least favourite thing about camping is the lack of plumbing.

A bit late to the party 🎉 in discovering you have uploaded yet another video - they are coming in so thick and fast now which is more than fine by me since they just seem to keep getting better and better! Love how you led with another ‘Big Thing ‘ I have not seen, although I have visited the original Big Prawn at Ballina here on the northern East Coast of NSW just before Byron Bay which was built in the late 1980’s and re-vamped in recent years - much bigger than the one in Exmouth but the one in Exmouth does appear to be more realistic though it appears to be more vibrant in colour suggesting it’s well and truly ‘cooked’! I have not journeyed between Exmouth and Broome during any of my WA travels so was excited to see the Hammersley Ranges, particularly Karijini Nat Park which is on my ‘Bucket List and from your perspective, it did not disappoint - the vibrant colours of the red dirt, aqua pools,, green trees and blue sky as well as the waterfall and sunsets are everything I hoped! (Feeling very jelly right now!) And is it just me or do other viewers experience chills in awe of your videography, drone shots and editing while at the same time still smiling. ? And did I detect the faint sound of a didgeridoo in parts of the soundtrack - if so, and it’s not just me connecting to the indigenous local spirits, there needs to be more of it - very fitting! Btw we call them ‘gorges’ not ‘canyons’! Perhaps you should have named the Ute ‘Dusty’ or maybe ‘’’Rusty’ for the red dirt! Good luck tryin’ to keep her clean on those roads! 😆 Luna has well and truly completed her initiation and passed with flying red dirt colours! Be sure and lock up your food supplies and scraps (seriously it’s recommended you ‘lock’ them up) at the risk of attracting them to your campsite and keeping yourselves safe from the cunning and clever wild scavengers they are which have been known to attack and sometimes in packs - not meaning to scare you but rather just keep you from harm. Cheveyo, you are sounding and acting more and more like a true blue Aussie bogan with each passing video! On yer mate! Oh, and I recommend you check out the Internet for famed Australian professional photographer Ken Duncan’s stunning photographs featuring Karijini NP (he incidentally resides just down the road on the NSW Central Coast) - his photographic works and books are what has inspired many of our travels to outback NSW and Queensland, WA and the NT! Safe travels!

Loved your face when you found that truck Cheveyo. lol. They get bigger than that one. That gorge is just amazing. I'm enjoying watching your adventures. My friends who live in Seattle used to live here in WA for a while. He worked on a nickel mine site and absolutely loved it.

You’re 100% right about the rain. I attended an incident there years ago where one of the rescuers was washed away and killed while responding due to rain upstream RIP James Regan I’m from there and love watching people’s reaction to it , it’s a beautiful place

So glad you made it to Karijini, it is one of our favourite places. When you get to Broome, you have to choose between crossing the bridge that stopped you last time, or take the epic Gibb River Road. You have the car to do the Gibb and much more interesting than the highway. But backtracking to Purnululu is very tempting.

So glad you took our advice and went to Karijini....hope it reminded you both of home. the rock formations are insane...and the colours changes throughout the day as the sun hits them. The Gibb River Road will also be a total highlight. !!

If you go there (Hancock Canyon), I'd recommend going pretty late in the day. We got there right around 1.5 hours before sunset and I'd say that was perfect. The carpark is huge which to me implied it gets really busy. I think on a busy day there would be a lot of waiting in line down there.

Too many things to note, stand outs Cheveyo for scale, the ensuite camp ground that you could basically sleep in, Tia's not-an-accent-accent slip down the stairs, and that level 5 trail! I've never really wanted to do a hike or trail before but that one looks so fun

I could not do Lvl 5, but thanks for showing us that. Its amazing what journeys open up when you have the correct vehicle to do the job. Seems you guys are loving the car. Yeah that red dirt is forever on your car. Whatever you can see can be washed off. Just don't get it inside because it will become a forever decoration.

Absolutely amazing video this one, so beautiful! And what a great way of showing Luna in her element. I don't need a car but that Mazda sure looks fantastic. Incredible drone shots as always!

If you happen to head back towards Karratha from Tom Price drop into the Millstream National Park to the historic Millstream homestead (in our day back in the 70s it used to run as a pub) good camping area and nice swimming also visit Python Pool while in the area. On the coast head out to Cossack near Roebourne its an old ghost town once the main port for the north west it has a great 360deg view from the lookout up on the headland overlooking the beaches also grab some seafood at Mobys in Point Samson..We did a lap around Australia last year with a caravan we were actually about 2 weeks ahead of you at the Victoria River Roadhouse and just got across the Fitzroy River before the temporary bridge got washed away glad that you guys came back to finish the journey.

I wonder who this "Hancock" was that had this gorge named after themselves ... At least some other company saved you time inspecting First Nation paintings by their activities.
