I think a lot of brands forget that older people want to wear colorful makeup. More are getting into it every year! If it doesn’t work for all ages and all skintones, or if you don’t at least have multiple options within your range, why bother releasing the product???

I especially appreciate the reviews of the brands where you can't really find them easily in major retailers, like Moira, etc., because I really don't want to order directly from a brand website if I am not going to like the product and returning it would be a chore, especially if I'm racking up a sizable order for free shipping. But I also appreciate the reviews of products that ARE readily available in Ulta, Sephora, CVS, etc, because it stops me from going out and impulse buying it if you mention that it isn't great. So I guess I appreciate all the reviews! LOL.

Love these videos! I do want to say, the price difference between Juvia's and Rare Beauty is actually only $5 so honestly it's more about color. Rare Beauty suits lighter skin tones really well whereas the Juvia's lean towards darker skin tones, which is great but they aren't as different price wise that it makes a difference honestly. Pick based on shade instead of price

Sometimes $5 is a big deal. Not everyone can afford that extra $5 just sayin. Also, yes, it is geared more towards darker skin tones but I am a true light neutral shade and I have both brands of blush and prefer the Juvias Place over Rare Beauty because the JV lasts longer and it blends out better. Plus it’s not as sheer. I find myself have to add more and more of the rare beauty after blending it out (and I’m blending lightly and have tried both a sponge and a brush) just to get it to show up. Whereas the JV I can apply one dot on each cheek blend out and it’s good to go all day even if I don’t put a powder blush over it. The rare beauty(I have one of the newest shades btw) I definitely HAVE to put a powder blush over it or it will be gone in 5 minutes unless I’m using one of the darkest shades, in that case it just leaves me looking like I’ve been slapped in the face & have a bruise 😂

I splurged and got a design-your-own palette from Lethal Cosmetics, and oh my gosh it’s fantastic. The formula is SO good, and the color story is perfect for me.

I never wore face makeup but recently I've been wanting to brighten my under eye area. The darkness under my eyes is due to hollowness and thin skin and I don't have pigmentation there. I've been using the Glowish sheer concealer and I LOVE it! I put one dot on my finger tip and that's enough for both my under eyes. It's in no way perfect and flawless but it's super natural and it doesn't look like makeup nor is it cakey/creasy plus I don't need to set it with powder. I don't like the bare face with perfect full on concealed under eyes look for myself and this definitely doesn't give that look. I've never used the YSL Touche Éclat but from what I've seen online, I think if you enjoyed that one, this concealer might be for you. I'm really happy that I found it because I really can't see myself using anything with any more coverage.

1. Scents in cosmetics are totally important (imo) and I've struggled to find sunscreens that don't make me nauseated. Supergoop Play, for example, I had to give away.🤢 2. Funky oil scents in cosmetics should not be ignored, especially if they change over time. The oxidation process can create byproduct that really shouldn't be applied to the skin (potentially toxic). 3. Sour scents that are new in cosmetics should not be ignored either. I'm a microbiologist and trust me when I say it's better to be safe than sorry. PSA: Don't buy "clean" or preservative-free cosmetics if you want them to last. 😅

I bought the Nabla lipstick for my sisters wedding and I am so happy with it. It's so comfortable, and when the shine fades it leaves a little stain of color on the lips which is so pretty.

The shimmers in Moonfall is gorgeous, but I absolutely find myself reaching for my Blendbunny palettes to finish a look. I just find the mattes all too dark to want to blend them. If I use it in its own, its 1 shimmer + 1 matte and its fine. I also agree on the color story of Into the Night, which is why I didn't order it.

I don’t like no makeup make up so sheer so brands like Saie and Merit, and also glossier don’t appeal to me. The Huda concealer was pretty surprising as my image of huda is full on glam makeup. Her Faux filter concealer is my favourite

I'm so sad to hear the Moira liners weren't good! I've tried many other products from that brand and all is well so far. I guess they can't do everything great. And I agree! Those lipsticks are sooo good; I recommend their lip oils (more like a gloss).

I’ve been loving the slip shine lipsticks from Fenty, they look similar to the ones from Nabla❤ I especially love the shades cookies and cocoa and bubblerum. I also love my diamond bomb highlighter as an eyeshadow topper, I love that wet sparkly look 😍

I use a matte eyeshadow stick from Julep called Desert as an eyeshadow primer. What a fantastic shadow! Never creases and hold my shadow all day. It’s also great to just take away dark pigmentation on my eyelids for those days I want to wear just mascara.

The nyx fat oil isn't an oil. It's a fricken goopy gloss. I prefer the cover girl clean fresh gloss with oil because it has more slip and isn't thick or sticky

I picked up the Alice pallete, because of the color story. I do reach for blowin smoke to deepen it up and give me contrast. Aurora struck with alice is my heaven. Im taking both with me into the afterlife lol 😂❤

The kosas products don't have necessary preservatives which is why they don't last a yr like other products AND bc you live in my hot state, things like that can go bad in route bc its critical they stay at lower temperature. Once the temperature in the product has risen, it's ruined and can't be undone. To get around this you need to contact kosas and inform them bc there are things they can do l8ke packmit with an ice pack, do overnight shipping, give special notes to the delivery company,etc. Kosas or sephora will reimburse due to that cause. This isn2hy preservatives are important and safe as long as they use the right ones.

Same here with the prism libre concealer. It settles in the under eye wrinkles. It dried to a soft powdery texture which almost looked dry under my eyes.

My husband and I are trying Hello Fresh again. Years ago, I got HF and enjoyed it when I did have time to cook. Then, things got busy and I just didn't have the time for it anymore. i truly look forward to your ranking videos each month. i still reallllly want to get LH’s quad that she released before the elements quad. i was actually afraid to get the kosas bronzer and listening to your review helped me make my mind about it. omg, i want the blend bunny blush palettes soooo badly, and i hope she releases glowy blushes at some point. i ADORE glaminatrix and i think the “into the night” palette looks gorgeous!!! i reallllly want to get some more products from half magic. the glitter puck is right up my alley. i also want to try some jason wu, because the biscotti lipstick looks beautiful. i’ve been dyinggg to try gloss gods for ages, but the palette i want is sold out, and i refuse to pay over $100 on mercari. i like the new colourpop crayons and i’m so glad that they reformulated them. i was gifted the mac bronzer in the matte medium rosy and i reallllly love it. i haven’t noticed any weird scent to it at all. the new lethal palette is pretty, but i prefer to buy night flower when i’m able to buy it. the nabla matte lipsticks look GORGEOUS and they’re on my wishlist along with their new jelly lipsticks, and i hope that they come to ulta as well. the moira signature lipsticks are AMAZING!!! i have 3 of them and they’re all just as beautiful. omg, unearthly’s highlighters look gorgeous. i ordered spellbinding and i’m obsessed with it, and now i need the other two as well. i wish that sephora had the PMG bronzer in nude honey, but i’ll just wait for it to go on sale on her site. the juvia’s place liquid blushes are soooo pigmented, and did you see that they just released LIQUID HIGHLIGHTERS?!?! 😍😍😍 ps… what lip combo do you have on???

Correct me if I am wrong but doesn't powder also cause enhancement of fine lines under eyes? It does mine. I'm in my late 40s. I can't use concealer or powder unless I want to put a spot light on my lines.

I’m 40 and I’ve given up on under eye concealer. My lines aren’t that noticeable until I try to conceal my dark circles, then they just dive out. I’ve tried multiple different kinds and I’ve given up.

I feel like Alice in wonderland is more vibrant or bright, not pastel. It's saturated colors. The packaging seems more accurate if that makes sense.

I don't feel like the colourpop Alice palette represents the movie at all. It's either bright and colorful, or kinda dark and colorful, depending on the scene, I don't think pastels are accurate.

How would compare the nabla lip jelly to LH fantastick formula 🤔? Because if they are similar im willing to pick a shade from nabla ! Because for now i only tried 2 colors (famous & pop) from LH formula for comfy glossy stick that is actually hydrating & i already finished the color (famous) & pop is barely there 😂❤

Mac makeup does expire. I don’t buy colourpop anymore because that expires between 2-6 months.

That colourpop Alice in wonderland palette could've been soooo much better. I don't think it represents the movie at all. Way better colors they could've picked
