I think purple shampoo makes my grey hairs look silver & really pop in a cool way. Ashy hair can sort of just fade to a pale bleh color, and i dont want to color right now, so having my greys look like silver balyage is great!

Thank you for sharing this video with us Dr Dray! I've got the SKIN1004 Probio-Cica Ampoule after you first reviewed it. I actually tried their Probio-Cica Enrich Cream first and this one has such a special consistency, really love that formula and can highly recommend it too. It's just as "sticky" as snail mucin can be. Anyways, SKIN1004 is actually a word play in Korean language which I found out about when researching on their website. When you pronounce “1004” in Korean, it sounds the same way as the word “Angel.” “천사” or “Cheon-Sa” to be exact. Which is why they often call themselves "Skin Angels". So cute! Have a great day!

Dr Dray, you might want to check out the Gold Bond Crepe corrector line, or the store brand dupes! I know those products are a bit overblown in terms of marketing - it appears that the magic ingredients are more dimethicone & petrolatum, but they work really well! I live on the northern scrub prairie, even when my skin looks and feels very healthy, I get a dehydrated face FAST in winter. I layer this over my sunscreen (once it fully absorbs) and then apply makeup. I have to stop buying primer lol since I rarely need it with this combo. I sometimes need another light SPF moisturizer around 3 pm, but even with CeraVe, I'd be dehydrated by 1 or 2 pm. My face looks caved in when that happens, and I don't do fillers & such, so let me tell you, this moisturizer is my HOLY HOLY GRAIL

Dr Dray, I read recently there is a possible correlation between snail mucin and dust mite allergies. May you please elaborate on that and what symptoms it may cause? Is it possible for a product to irritate allergies causing my eyes to water? I’m confirmed sensitive to dust mites. I only use mine 2x right now, and I haven't seen dramatic results, but I've seen a subtle change. I've read that 2x can yield results. I'm trying to increase mine but have to heal some barrier damage first. The last time I tried a potent retinol, I was under-moisturizing, and got really poor results. If your skin can absorb more lotion every night, I highly recommend filling 'er up every night for a month, then maybe spot test an area for a 3rd night...but I am not a professional in this field

The Gold Bond line transformed my skin, btw, and it's quite frugal. The retinol one shouldn't be used with topical retinol ofc, but maybe try the pure moisture one or the crepe corrector. The "corrector" is just that it is highly occlusive and has dimethicone to smooth things out.

Couldn't disagree more regarding the Cerave Ultra Light Moisturizing Gel. Definitely an amazing improvement over the PM which needs a refresh - maybe they should add peptides to it to improve the formula. Both the Gel and the PM are about the same price but net weight is a bit different. Gel came down quite a bit in price from launch at least on Amazon. Since reformulation, the Cerave PM just stings in my opinion and doesn't feel more moisturizing at all. Why I stopped using it. The new Gel is just better overall and you don't need much and I love the pump. It seems to be better formulated and the niacinamide in it does a better job with moisturization and hyperpigmentation as well compared to the PM without irritation. The Gel also plays well with sunscreen. Tried the Cetaphil Renew Serum and it is not that great. Terribly sticky and dries the skin. Love the Cetaphil Renew Night Cream and Eye Serum which are much better.

No you're right to call it "one thousand four". The Korean pronunciation is "chun sa" which is literally one thousand four in English, but it also happens to be a play on words in Korean, and means "angel"

Hi My question is can I use tretinoin0.025% when trying to conceive… The thing is I have been trying to conceive for 3 years now… but no luck .. i have hypothyroidism and hyperprolactinemia which is under control for 1 year now… but my skin is getting too much acne which stresses me out… let me know if I can use tretinoin while trying to conceive.. maybe twice a week?

You can NOT use Tretinoin or retinol while pregnant and it’s recommended to be avoided while trying to conceive so I would recommend not to. There’s other options that are ok during those times.

In case people aren’t aware. Cerave is no longer cruelty free! The company has decided to sell their products in China, and as a result, they are REQUIRED to test on animals😢

Not necessarily, you can enter through the Hong Kong market and then mainland without testing on animals

I want to listen to her because she sounds like she knows what she is talking about, but her skin looks horrible unless she is in her 60's or maybe fifties, but she sounds kind of young. She looks 50's with airbrush make up.
